Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomDidn’t like the early dinner time of 6:45, also staff leaving the island around 9pm.
Loved the location! Loved the staff! (Especially Anise and Jada) Rooms were lovely and just overall had an amazing time

United StatesNot a fault of the property, but the biting insects after sunset are voracious. Bring insect repellent!
The room porch overlooking the ocean! It is an especially beautiful location. Lovely staff; particularly Bri, Mari, Arista, and Julia.

United StatesBe prepared that everything closes early lol. The grocery/liquor stores are on the mainland and you should stock up upon arrival (also pricey $$$). I wouldn't call this spot a party/late night environment. Staying on the house boat was great because after dinner and such- just sitting around the deck felt like "doing something". Also the island has some kind of rooster that cuckoos around 4 AM then again around 5. It was hilarious!
It was a beautiful, peaceful little getaway. My room was a mini houseboat, which was awesome. You can explore the island, lounge around in the water or kayak. Chat n Chill is a short kayak away and has sting rays waiting to be fed in the beautiful water. It was a lovely trip!

United Statesthe property was ruin down there was construction materials piled everywhere the landscaping was a mess and the lounging furniture and toys like Kayaks and pads were old and broken and in disrepair. the entry to resort could really use some TLC. the room were clean tho. I was just disappointed because the place is in such a great location and owners who lives doesn't do much to improve run down grounds and faded paints everywhere.
Staff and locations is amazing food was really good too

United StatesThe resort needs some updating and cleaning of the grounds. They were working on this and going to be doing a overhaul on the resort. But would suggest in the meantime to clean up the item that were not in operation. Kayaks and paddleboards were in a bad state of repair. The good superseded the bad and would like to come back when they do the upgrade
Staff was incredible as was the food. Loved the location so quiet and the beaches were beyond beautiful.

United Kingdomrooms need refurbishment (some wear and tear is acceptable, but having all the paint peeling off the sink is not); the electric generator needs some soundproofing fence as it is rather noisy through the whole resort. I would advise some blinding curtains to improve darkness as the (beautiful) sunrise should not necessarily need to be the wake up call every day. We had some issues with AC system that gave us a bit of troubles but I must say both the staff and the owner of the property tried their best to promptly resolve the matter, and offered a full refund for the time spent in resolving it. however, despite the refunding, the loss of time in waiting a fix for the problem is the main reason for our overall not exceptional score. Last addition: please reduce the use of plastic.
the location is very nice; on one side there is the calm water of the harbour, on the other side the wavy water of the ocean. Staff is very professional and they really looked after us, helping in solving problems and helping in adjusting our comfort at best. They are also very flexible. the restaurant is also very nice, with a stunning sunset view. Jason and Shakita have been fantastic, thank you. the view from the room is stunning, facing directly the ocean from the eastern window and looking at the harbour from the entrance. We loved the effort towards eco-friendliness and we also loved Emma, the lovely and beloved pig at the property. The staff definitely took care of our needs, managing to arrange a very nice tour finding some last second slots, and we were impressed that, on the day of the excursion, leaving very early in the morning far before the opening of the restaurant, the manager himself was there to arrange our super early breakfast.

United StatesMicrowave would have been great, even a TV for evenings because I get chewed up in any of the tropics after dusk. However the kitchen/restaurant is a very short walk and they will heat up anything for you!

United KingdomNo complaints at all just some suggestions for improvement - add fruit to breakfast menu, some fresh milk for the tea/coffee in the room would be nice. Can be a bit windy on the Atlantic side so shady seating on the bayside other than the restaurant deck would be good. Annoyingly bad wifi in room 1&2 but worked just outside and was fine in other rooms/areas. Shower head in our room needed changing.
Great location for exploring Exumas and experiencing real Bahamian hospitality, a really special place and so glad we made this choice. Admire that they are trying to be more eco friendly. Super staff who take time to get to know you and can't do enough for you - they really made our trip - thank you Jason, Donna, Pat, Luke, Akira and Eden. Lovely food, big portions. Basic but super clean, spacious room, big beds, fluffy towels and beach towels provided. Peaceful bay on one side and wild, windy Atlantic on the other. Loved the walks around the island, kayaking to Chat'N'Chill, and the personal touch with Pat's boat service when we needed to go to Georgetown or to local beach spots. Definitely a place we will return to.

United StatesI wasn’t sure how to get our room freshened up daily. Nothing like coming back from a day out to a made up bed. I wasn’t sure if the cleaning lady spoke English because when I was trying to communicate with her about needing a fresh sheet, I was met with a silent stare. The food was good but breakfast options were limited until we asked for additional options other than eggs. I would love to have seen a local option offered regularly after all people (some) come to the islands to try out new foods and culture.
The view is to die for - water all around. Because this resort is on an island you have a beautiful but active ocean to the back, marina in the front and beautiful aqua water beach within reach. The staff couldn’t have been more warm and accommodating. They packed us an igloo filled with food and drinks for our day on a private beach. I’m so glad they have the meal option which gave our family of 4 true relaxation for the week. The water taxi and a captain Pat were reliable and convenient. I also loved how green conscious the hotel was. It was a great experience!

United StatesWe didn’t have working WiFi in our room, only in the resort cafe.
We loved the location — a small island with lots of incredible beaches and hiking. The resort staff was so friendly and kind — we especially appreciated all the help and friendliness of Jason. We enjoyed kayaking to other beautiful parts of the island with the resort kayaks and swimming in the calm clear waters. The resort food was also delicious.

United StatesBreakfast was around 845/9am, I like to eat earlier so I can start my day and this slowed me down. Communication between staff could be better.
Room was great as you have the bay on one side and the ocean on the other side. AC worked like a charm. CPT Pat made sure our stay was memorable. He took us back and forth to the mainland and to see different things around Stocking Island. I loved hanging with the locals. Chat and chill is just 3 minutes away. Any issue we had was addressed by Dario the GM. I will definitely be going back next year for a visit.
