Breakfast was very similar each day, perhaps some more choices like croissants, French toast and hot trays to keep the food warm on the buffet as most of the hot food were only luke warm. This is not a complaint- purely a suggestion as we still enjoyed it

From the time we arrived at the property we were treated so well. Staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spectacular with the most amazing view. The private boat cruise was unforgettable. On arrival we were surprised with a bottle of champagne and snacks as we were celebrating our anniversary- such a special touch and treat. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The reason I’ve scored the property low is because I had booked a river view room…these rooms are not nice…the aircon is not remote controlled and to reach it to turn it on and off and change temperature you have to climb on the dressing table stool as it’s above the wardrobe. Also the beds are comp,etely enclosed in huge mosquito nets which are really difficult to get in and out of. The toilet is made for a child, about a foot from the floor…not at all suited to anyone who can’t do squat thrusts so most over 60’s struggle to get down and up from it. the shower had loads of mould in it. As we were there 8 nights I complained. I was taken to Queen, the accommodation manager, she said she noted my complaint…. I replied that wasn’t good enough we needed to have our room changed as we couldn’t and wouldn’t stay there for 7 more nights…her response was she would see what she could do….again not good enough….I had to really push to get her to agree to change room and she said she’d let us know which room in 20 minutes…..an hour and a half later I went back to see what was happening,reception said Queen wasn’t in her office and no one knew where she was…I said I wanted to talk to her boss…the manager…insisted …miraculously Queen then appeared … she said she needed more time, I asked how much more , she said ten minutes….in the mean time we went to activities to pick up the tickets for our Safari from the wonderful Dorkus. she could see we were upset and pushed us to tell her why…bless her she then spoke to Queen and 30 minutes later Dorkus told us our new room number but the room wasn’t ready. More hours were spent sat i. the heat waiting for our new room….eventually guest relations got us the key and said it would be ready in 10 minutes….I didn’t wait…it was ready…it was a lovely cool Safari Room….

my report is a mixed one because the room we booked was not suitable….but the one we eventually moved to was superb…A Safari Room . Miriam on the front desk, Solelco in guest relations and the wonderful Dorkus in activities were marvellous and helped to make certain our stay was fabulous. Guest relations organised flowers in our room and on our table and singing by the restaurant choir and a cake for my husbands birthday. it made it very special. Thank you Solelco. . Dorkus in activities not only sorted our accommodation out for us but also arranged our activities,which were not their usual ones. we were very grateful. she also made certain we had a superb driver/guide a wonderful young man named Same. Thank you Dorkus, you really did sort everything out for us and ensured we had a wonderful stay…your kindness is imprinted on my heart.

Rooms booked through booking.com were not available and we needed to sleep in other rooms. Food was extremely expensive and of poor quality.

morning game drive was rubbish - far too many vehicles all trying to cover the ground at pace. Needs better control and limits. The evening meal at Bush Lodge was great. The pool should not be placed in the centre of everything. The dinners and breakfasts were over priced and of poor quality in Safari Lodge

Everything was amazing. The people are beautiful, so friendly and made you feel so welcome.. special mention to Twinkle who is the best waiter with every attention to detail. Room and view were incredible. Can't wait to come back !!

The excellent service and the top notch food.. The game drives and the boat cruises are out of this world. Managed to see all the animals except the Rhino that is not housed in the park.

The Hotels its a bit run down, and the rooms need upgrading, understandable during Covid but now they need to invest in refurbishing rooms, they have nice areas around the pool but not inviting to seat around after a game drive or cruise. The game drives are good but everybody follows the same route and it very crowded

The facilities are a bit tired but I realized they are renovating , so soon it will be up to standard.

My host manager, Selelo was very friendly, She made me very comfortable and gave me a real treat.

it’s centrally located near the airport, near the river and soo peaceful. it really is your one stop safari location you can book and and every activity from here. the staff is phenomenal and the views are breathtaking

Unfortunately there was a day without water but that wasn’t the Lodges fault but it was a bit of an inconvenience. Also the WiFi could be stronger in the rooms.

From the booking and all the enquiries done prior to arrival, the service was absolutely outstanding. The property was beautiful, serene and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very unfriendly, Had no idea how to treat international travelers. Totally hopeless in sorting out our bill. Could not even produce a cappuccino because the machine had no water........The hotel is on one of the largest rivers in Africa.

I was totally disappointed with this booking, They sent us to their sister hotel, absolute disaster, the room stank of damp, we had booked a river view which we did not get initially, had to walk down to the original hotel and cause absolute hell before they produced the manager. Checking out took over an hour fighting for the correct amount, will make sure we never return.

Placed in cottage next to pump house. Terrible noise . Had to ask to be moved to another room. Lighting in second room bad. Had to use camping head lights to read a book. We were without water for more than a day. Will not stay there again.

i requested a quiet room because of the busy weekend and request was granted. i had welcome snacks in the room which was a really nice touch. The staff were willing to go the extra mile to assist and always remembered my name. The guests relations lady and Chris the Lodge Manager were really great.
