The property might consider creating a family suite, with enough beds inside the same room to sleep two parents and two young children, rather than making families reserve and pay for two separate rooms. Also, if you're looking to be close to downtown Maun and go out at night, this place is a little far out, although I assume you can get a taxi or other driver to take you to and from town and the staff can probably arrange that for you.

We stayed at Signature Boutique Guesthouse just one night, as the flight from Johannesburg arrived too late in the afternoon to begin our safari that same day, and it fulfilled our expectations. The property was clean, the staff was polite and accommodating, and the pool was refreshing. We enjoyed the full breakfast that was cooked to order onsite. As we were four people -- me, my wife, and our 9- and 11-year-old kids -- we were given (and paid for) two rooms. The rooms were connected by an internal hallway, which allowed us to move between them while maintaining our privacy. The bathrooms were large and the A/C in each room functioned well. Overall we had a very positive experience.

The location of the property was difficult to find even though there were signs from the main road into Maun. There is no signage on the outside of the property and it is located about 300 metres from the nearest road on the sat navs down a sandy track. The staff, although very friendly could have been more proactive especially at breakfast when if you wanted standard things like coffee tea juice you always had to ask for them. There was also a problem with the Wi-Fi which often became unavailable when there were more guests staying.

The room at the property was spacious clean and comfortable with a large bathroom which included bath and shower. It had excellent air conditioning and there was plenty of space for baggage clothes etc for a stay of three days.

The staff were excellent from check in until check out. Recommended a great restaurant for supper and even made a reservation for me.

The location wasn't the easiest to find. Should maybe include a big sign around all sides of the complex to assist guests. The tap in the bathroom was almost unusable because the water was barely coming out of it. Also the water from the shower was slightly flooding out to the sink. The payment machine wasn't working, so we had to use cash (luckily we had). Hopefully this was just a one off.

The pool and a/c was great for the heat.

Not dislike just suggest a mirror near the socket to blow wave hair and a sign at main road close to hospital, we battled for an hout to find the place due to bad reception we could not use maps effectively

The guesthouse's slogan is "Detail. Affordable. Luxury" - while it definitely ticks the box for affordability, the other two descriptors were certainly not met. - The maintenance of the guesthouse is lacking. Plug switches don't have covers, ceilings are sagging and have marks, spiderwebs in ceiling corners, furniture is chipped or broken, and there are holes in the wall to pull cables through. - It is difficult to find the guesthouse. You access the guesthouse from the back road where the walls have not even been plastered/painted. The front of the guesthouse has been painted so that it looks like the picture. - There is no natural light coming into these rooms - it is strange. In our room the window was literally covered with a canvas print. There was less than half a toilet paper roll left behind in both our room and my family's room. At first glance, it all looks nice, but when you start to use the room and guesthouse, the cracks start to show. A lack of attention-to-detail and poor execution. If a bit more work could be put in to address these issues, I am sure that this guesthouse can become one of the better establishments in Maun.

Affordable. You can see that there were good intentions to try and make a nice, neat and "luxe" guesthouse from a design and layout perspective - however, the execution and attention-to-detail was lacking. The staff were friendly and accommodating of the breakfast time that suited our morning activities in Maun. Good WiFi.
