Our stay was fantastic, with no complaints. I'd like to commend the thoughtful touch of providing repellent cream upon arrival; it's a great idea. However, I would suggest including room repellent as part of the apartment's amenities.

The unit was very hot when I booked in.

I did not have breakfast at the Tlou as I had to leave very early in the morning. The unit is lovely and spacious, just very hot when one enters it. It might help if the air conditioner was switched on an hour before ETA. More bottled water would have been great, especially during summer times.

The speed of the Wi-Fi was very bad, but it worked well at the Reception area. Some of the kitchen drawers weren't cleaned well as there were some insect eggs/remains spread around and on plates and cups.

The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were nice, spacious living room, necessary kitchenware. Power adaptors were available upon request from the Reception. The swimming pool although quite small was very clean - the staff members cleaned it thoroughly every morning.

Bed was very comfortable and the white towels and bed linen felt luxurious. After spending time camping with 4X4 in the bush this was a welcome retreat. We had a splendid rest and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. The swimming pool was a big bonus.

Still the same Wifi - to slow... And one evening after the heavy rain the electricity went out, but it was pretty soon repaired.

We stayed in a lodge with two rooms, living room and a kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and quite Brittish- eggs, beans, toasted bread with jam, etc. WiFi was not the fastest one but we somehow got along. Next to our cottage there was a small pond with bullfrogs (at least we detected them as bullfrogs) - what a stunning chorus!:)

There are few inferiors, if I say, some electrical socket did not work, but there were several sockets as well as USB ports, so that shouldn’t be a big problem.

Room was relatively new and cleaned everyday. Shower flow was good. The room had not only two bedrooms but also two kitchens, each kitchen had electrical grills, fridge and microwave. There was a supermarket next to the hotel, so we could buy food there. A variety of cutlery, dishes, glassware and tools were available. Even they offered cheese grinders. Breakfast was also nice. Menu changed everyday. Dinner at reasonable price was also delicious. Staff were very diligent and kind. As for surroundings, we could see many birds and their nests.

There was really nothing to complain about, Kasane was very, very hot, but with the aircons and fans available in working condition, we could cope.😉

It was clean and comfortable the food excellent. Ronelle Erasmus and her office staff were great.

A golf cart to move around the property on hot days !

This is a hidden gem if you are looking for Self catering Facilities in Kasane . The rooms are large and well equipped with creature comforts . The staff is very friendly and happy to consider all your requests . We met Rati in the front office and she was super helpful. The breakfast spread is adequate and the walk to the river jetty is quite rewarding for birds . There is a resident large group of banded mongooses who are super cute and on their own . The trees in the property are filled with weaver bird nests and there is a raucous group of Grey Turacos and Mouse birds who will keep you rapt with attention at their antics . The restaurant also serves lunch & dinner and has room service although a limited menu.
