Marcela is so sweet. She takes care over the little things and makes you feel so at home. Our treehouse was so adorable. We were able to birdwatch from the balcony. Breakfast was excellent and she accommodated our schedule.

It was perfect

The best of all was the warm and very family like atmosphere that Marcella and her staff (Eva, Sisi,...) created at the Green Valley Inn. From the first second we felt at home and very welcome. The food is amazing (we had breakfast & dinner there daily), as are the cocktails (you have to try the rum punch!). For the meals you always sit together with the whole camp, which directly creates bonds between you, the other guests and the staff. Great chill out area next to the pool as well and it's very calm & quiet, ideal to relax. The entire compound is amazing and very well taken care of. There's really nothing I didn't like about my stay. Everything was great!

Every meal was spectacular and everyone was accommodated for! I especially loved meeting all the different groups staying on property and learning new things about the area.

Nothing to not like! It was the perfect place!!!

The owner and her staff were marvelous! The rooms spotless and the food was so fantastic that we ate all our meals there. Two of us are vegetarians and there was no lack of amazing dishes with fruits and vegetables. Marcella (the owner) took care of all our excursion needs. We arrived early, around 2 p.m, and were quite hungry; although they do not serve lunch (because most people are out and about) Marcella's helper Ava, put together a delicious lunch for us, going far beyond our expectations! Most everything is made on site. It's also very quiet, great for us.

There was nothing we didn't like except, per above, having to leave.

From our arrival, the owner, Marcella, was a fantastic host, intent on assuring our and other guests absolute satisfaction with all aspects of our stay. The Treehouse we stayed in was the most unusual accommodation we've ever stayed in yet comfortable, perfectly appointed beautifully set on the grounds with serenity. Eva, the chef and Sessi her helper prepared wonderful meals and were so fun to get to know. Marcella went above and beyond, providing recommendations, helping to schedule excursions and much more. Frankly we absolutely luv'd every aspect of our stay except having to depart.

The only small issue I had was the shower is outdoors and I feel like any of the other guests could have looked up through the gap and seen more than I liked, had they decided to walk around the property a bit. But we just paid attention to the area before we used the shower, so it wasn't a big deal.

We loved how quiet and secluded this place was. We stayed 3 nights for some tours we had booked in San Ignacio and it was perfect. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Meals were available if we wanted for a reasonable fee, and the food is so good.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This is an exceptional place with fantastic hostess Marcella! We were treated like queens. The room is simple, but with all the services (even an outdoor shower and air conditioning) and super clean. The food was excellent and Marcella guided us well for everything we were looking for in the area. If we come back to Belize, this will definitely our place of choice to stay.

It wasn’t a bother for us, but we did notice on checkout that the dinners have different costs associated. If you are traveling on a budget, it might be handy to know the costs of the dinners as there was a 10$USD difference between the cheapest and most expensive dinner. All worth it to eat there - the meals truly are delicious!

We had such a lovely stay here! Marcela and her staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, see the sites you would like, and are healthily nourished. Every meal was phenomenal - for dinners we had shrimp ceviche, pasta bolognese, and fresh red snapper. Marcela also arranged an ATM tour for us on our first day and gave us tips and advice for the rest of our days and the activities we wanted to do. She also gave us a fresh coconut to enjoy by the pool after a couple long and hot days & we were lucky enough to leave with some starfruit, Jamaican limes, and grapefruit from her garden!

The only thing- which would not impede our return- were the cool showers with very little water pressure at times. Only tough because it was cool and rainy during our stay, and we were muddy from our adventures! I would imagine in hotter temperatures it would be refreshing.

The setting was a hidden gem!! Beautiful, lush greenery! Marcela and her crew- Ava, Ceci and Maria were very hospitable! From helping arrange tours/rental cars to preparing delicious meals- they could not have done better!! Would definitely return!

The outdoor showers were slightly chilly since it happened to be a bit cold outside while we were there (high 60s to low 70s F), but they were still a very cool experience and worth the chill!

This was the most beautiful hotel you could choose to stay at. The treehouse was a very cool and unique room experience, and the grounds our full of beautiful fruit trees and flora. Marcela and her staff were incredibly accommodating, offering us rides when needed and cooking us an absolutely delicious breakfast each morning.

Marsela, the owner, was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We often got breakfast in the morning; it was one of the best meals we got in our whole vacations. They make something else every morning, and it is wonderful. When falling asleep you hear nature around you awake, it is very peaceful

That’s hard to say because we loved it all!

Marcella is an amazing host! We felt very comfortable, the landscaping is gorgeous, food is amazing, cozy treehouse with a privacy porch to lounge on. Loved the cute outdoor shower, never experienced that before! At night you can see fireflies, during the day you see beautiful plants and birds. It’s an awesome stay, secluded but also conveniently placed for venturing out.

Very noisy neighbours. Obviously this was not Marcela's fault, but she had a word with them to sort it out! Well done, Marcela!

Marcela and Eva are both lovely. They were helpful and friendly. The weather was bad while we were there but Marcela kept us up to date with which sites were open to visit. Food was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed chatting to other guests from around the world over meals. Room was well kitted out with a fridge, drinks, carafe of water, coffee and coffee machine, toiletries etc. Outdoor shower was fun. Pretty garden and small pool. Recommended and would definitely stay again.
