Our room faced the restaurant so it didn't feel private enough or have an ocean view; next time I would ask for a different room. Also, although there is a dock with shallow water that you can access with a ladder, there isn't a beach.

Weezie's is really nice; we stayed in a little apartment in the main part of Weezie's (the cottages are on a different street AWAY from the water so not sure I would have liked it there). The apartment, Wifi, pool, dock, beach chairs, and location are really good. The restaurant is also really good; I heard that the owner has a garden that the restaurant uses. I might note, however, that I think the best food in Belize is from the people who grill chicken and lobster with coleslaw and homemade tortillas by the side of the road. I was concerned that Caye Caulker itself didn't have a beach (we went to the Split and the water access near the Lazy Lizard is similar; there is a concrete wall all around with access to the shallow water down a ladder). However, we found out that you can take the little ferry across the Split and take a short walk to Northside Beach Club, formerly Koko King Beach. The Club is closed but you can access the beach which is FABULOUS! There's a really sweet young guy who works there who will rent you a beach chair if you want one. I paid him to take me line-fishing on his boat which was an INCREDIBLE experience (we caught 17 snappers and then he grilled them for us).

The cottages are even further from the main water taxi terminal than the rest of the hotel so it's either a 15 walk or a golf cart taxi. It's about a 7 minute walk to the hotel site.

We stayed in a semi detached cottage with a pool that is shared by the group of 4/5 cottages. The cottage has everything you need including a more than basic kitchen.

Everything was great until checkout with the unfriendly, power-over attitude of the in-charge front desk clerk was so off kilter that I left feeling confused and insulted. My checkout experience did not ruin my visit but left me feeling unsure about returning in the future.

The property was wonderful with 2 beautiful pools, great dock with lots of lounge chairs, and excellent tour guide, John, for snorkeling & fishing. The studio was sparkling clean had everything we needed, was comfortable with fresh service every day, good water pressure and cold AC. The kitchen provided absolutely delicious breakfast, lunch and healthy proportioned dinner snacks. It’s staff and bar staff were friendly and interested in our needs.

Very pretty place. Cozy and calm. Pools are perfects. We have the basic room and it was perfect and clean. Staff is amazing. The manager was so helpful ! I really like to stay there and I recommend.

The roads were very pitted due to the rain near the room. In the touristy areas, they are kept better. Otherwise, nothing not to like.

Everything was fantastic, from the service of Roberto the manager, the snorkeling tours with Ian and John, the room was fantastic, the restaurant. The dock and pool areas were very comfortable and well-kept. I loved having a private porch on our room.

I wish I had know that the cottages were separated from the hotel. Definitely worth noting for next time I visit.

We were not able to get the stove's pilot light to come on. We looked for instructions but couldn't find any.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet location along with meditating outdoors near the pool. We did not get a chance to enjoy the breakfast as we slept in and booked early morning tours.

Weezie’s Ocean Front Hotel was very nice and clean! Housekeeping came on a daily basis. The staff was nice and helped us coordinate safe transportation to and from the airport. I will definitely be returning and definitely recommend!

The staff was incredible. There was a very bad rainstorm during my stay and it was impossible to go outside to get food. The manager of the property came to my cabin took my order for lunch then delivered it to me when it was done. He also made sure I had a cab waiting first thing the next morning for my early ferry ride back to Belize City.

The bathroom door was difficult to open because it was a very small bathroom and the door opened inwards.

I loved the vibe of the property; it was tranquil. The staff were excellent. It was a peaceful, secure, and pleasant location.

The only negative experience that we had is that we paid over $300 to take the Weezies boat instead of the water taxi to get from the airport to the hotel, and it took over 2.5 hours to get to the hotel because the boat was running very late. Although the staff were extremely kind about it, we should not have had to pay that kind of money when it took so long to get there as we could have gotten there much quicker taking the public water taxi. The Weezie’s website noted that the private boat was definitely the quickest way to get to the hotel and that was very untrue.

The staff that worked at Weezies were truly the most helpful and caring people. The patio cafe exceeded our expectations. The food and the drinks were unbelievable and we loved that we could use the bar late at night too.
