Breakfast was more elaborate than I expected. Lots of little touches like fancy afternoon snacks. The staff were extremely helpful and nice.

We loved the ambience of the hotel. Beautifully restored, lots of interest and character, and lovely gardens. Breakfasts were not only delicious, but plentiful and a lovely selection. The staff are simply delightful. Warm, welcoming and helpful. If we ever get back to Victoria, this is where we will stay. Our thanks to all.

In one of the intro messages they need to explain that the hotel can be accessed on foot from Quadra Street as Google maps will send you around the block.

This boutique style hotel is beautiful and so well set up with everything you could think you needed and more. The staff were wonderful.

Parking can be challenging.

This is a boutique accommodation, located in a residential area, very close to downtown (walking distance), to the Beacon Hill Park, and to the ocean. There is a lot of care for details, and a very pleasant and hard working and welcoming staff. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is very good, changing every day.

Modern 'Old World' hospitality and facilities, the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, the decor and attention to detail was exceptional. The outstanding silver service breakfasts created a great start to each day. We'll have fond memories of our stay for many years.

Our entire experience was relaxed and comfortable. We felt completely pampered. The location is perfect to walk to points of interest and to many restaurants. The breakfasts served at Abigails were amazing as well. And we can't say enough about their very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely be going back!

It was so quaint to stay at this lovely hotel. The rooms were beautiful, music was playing in the room as we entered, and the nightly snacks and morning breakfast were so amazingly delicious.

Can't think of a thing.. No need to try and find fault with perfectuon

By eveey measure, this hotel is exceptuonal. I was hoping to treat my lasy to a memorable experience. We hit the jaxkpot. Beyond its top notch facilities/amenities and deleciious breakfasts was the sincere joy the staff projected in providing exceptional service. Everyone had a smile.

We generally felt safe in the neighbourhood around the hotel, but there were a couple places that we had to pass as we walked downtown from the hotel that did not feel very safe, both at night and during the daytimer.

We loved the vibe of the hotel ... the history, decore, places to relax & read (i.e., library, front parlour). The breakfast was probably the best surprise - unbelievable value for an included meal! 99% of the staff members were absolutely wonderful - friendly, helpful, accomodating, etc.

I felt the check in at reception could had been more friendly and helpful. We were on the second floor- two big flights of stairs no offers of help with bags.

The only possible thing Ths could be improved (in my humble opinion) is the pores coffee at breakfast. It is pretty weak. It may be the preference of a more traditional-based clientele, but we opted for the espresso in the lobby instead. I’m serious - that’s the only thing.

It was intimate in the best way. The staff were welcoming and always there when we wanted them. They were helpful but not intrusive. The location is a modest walk from anything you want to do. We are not the best walkers, but we could walk almost everywhere and took Uber up the hill after a later night out. Their recommendations were spot on for the rental car, restaurants and things to do. The breakfasts are quite substantial, and very good. You don’t need lunch if you have breakfast there - and it is included in the rate. The clientele were very nice and friendly, as well - but quiet at night - the best kind of neighbors. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was centrally located, the staff were attentive, eager to assist, and friendly. The breakfast that was included with the room was amazing. We will be returning to this hotel for our next stay in Victoria.

Breakfast was lovely overall, but I wish there were more savory choices each day, or ways to customize it. Most people wanted the savory breakfast, but had to order in ways that removed major components of the original dish to get it to their liking.

Great downtown residential neighborhood, so many things within a 15 minute walk or quick drive. Fabulous bed and linens. EV charger. Signs everywhere so you know where everything is from the second you arrive. Comfortable lounge area with tea and machine to make coffee drinks.
