The parking lot was not close to the front door of the house. Thus carrying luggage into the house was a bit challenging.

For a Bed & Breakfast, the two twin room was very roomy. In fact, the ensuite bath was very huge and I found out later that this was formerly a small room in the house. You rarely find a room in a Bed & Breakfast that offers two beds. Alicion did not only offer one but provided ample space.

Nothing can compare to Alicion B& B. Every other place we stayed on our trip could not measure up to the Alicion B& B. It ruined every other place we stayed. We even stayed at a luxurious resort on the north shore of Prince Edward Island and it could not compare to the Alicion. The Alicion raised our expectations so now no other place can compare!

The breakfast was amazing! The property is perfectly maintained and gorgeously decorated. Details, details, details in everything. Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Service is superb! Joe was quite the host. We cannot say enough!!! Unbelievably perfect place to stay!!!

Our stay at the Alicion Bed & Breakfast was exceptional. This accommodation was more than a simple B&B. It was an opportunity to experience an incredible heritage home that has been decorated to perfection. Our suite had the best bed ever. Joe and Christopher were excellent Hosts providing an outstanding breakfast and attention to detail we have rarely seen in our travels. Congrats to Joe & Christopher for a job very well done.

Joe was an amazing host, the property is amazing in every way, and I had the best nights sleep so far of our 5 week trip. The bed and furnishings are easily the best I have ever experienced in any hotel or airbnb. Joe is extremely accomodating and made us an amazing breakfast and we met some lovely guests too.

A really special b&b that meets your expectations and experiences of a well run b&b. The accommodations with private shower was very nice. Joe's was professional, courteous and informative. The breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, parfait and waffles with sausage was well done. And real maple syrup.

The weather.

We arrived in Lunenberg just as Hurricane Lee was approaching and we had to stay a second night Power went out during the night and all the 2nd day. Joe and Christopher were extremely accommodating given the circumstances keeping us fed and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Our room was on the ground floor, so in the morning you might be woken up by other guests having breakfast. If you like to sleep in, this might not be the best spot for you. Darker curtains would be nice, as lots of light comes in, early in the morning (it might be a different experience depending on weather and season)

Alcion B&B is a beautiful property, in a quiet and residential neighborhood in Lunenburg. Historic downtown is a pleasant 10-minutes walk, away. The room was very spacious, bed was super comfortable, bathroom was large and with all the amenities. Parking is available on site. Breakfast was plenty and varied.

Everything was perfect!

We loved everything- Alicion is a beautiful historic home with modern amenities and the best towels, linens and robes. We enjoyed the opportunity to chat with interesting fellow travellers over breakfast. The breakfast was a feast and varied daily during our three night stay. The location is perfect for exploring the harbour area and many shops and restaurants downtown. Owners Joe and Christopher are lovely and obviously take great pride in hosting guests and providing an exceptional experience.
