I was in contact with the property before my stay to have a specific room and did not get it. This is a minor issue as the room I was provided was still fine.

Everything was great and this is why I stay here on business trips. Allowed flexibility on check-in and as well as on a late check-out that was greatly appreciated!

The breakfast was excellent. The location was too, as we walked all around the beautiful lake side park and enjoyed th ease of walking to dinner.

Friendly receptionist, big room with huge TV, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, bathroom was very big as well. Continental breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

The front garden had not been tended since the summer rush season. The room bathtub had a rounded bottom which was a bit challenging.

The host was very attentive. The room finishing were beautiful. We loved being able to sit in the elegant dining room with a bottle of our own wine dining on food we had purchased in town. After dinner we moved into the elegant lounge and played a few games of cards. It was elegance of a time long gone.

Only minor complaint is that the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Left my husband with a sore back. But if in the area we would still book again if for one night.

Beautiful Historic Inn walking distance to waterfront and downtown..Owners are passionate about property and it shows in all the wonderful details.. We were gifted a fireworks display in lakefront park enjoyed from our room for Winterfest Celebration and it was Spectacular! Thank You!!🎆

The stay was nice. Large comfortable room and nice comfy bed. Clean. The breakfast was a nice touch. What made it exceptional was the service we received. Even though we arrived on a quiet off-season weekend we were treated really well in the check in and check out process and at breakfast. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Magog

There were a few large cracks in the bedroom floor (apparently the original floorboards) - to be expected given the age of the building.

Excellent hot breakfast available until 11 am. In fact, we arrived for breakfast at 10:45 after shopping on the main street, and breakfast was still served with freshly made scrambled eggs, coffee/tea and toast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The manager even suggested a scenic route on the way to our next destination. The manager also explained some of the history of the building, which has been carefully renovated.

I liked everything, but for people who have mobility issues- no elevator.

EVERYTHING. I would like to start by the hosts. Marie Josee and her husband were absolutely amazing. We were there for 9 nights , so you can’t really hide. it was clean , daily room cleaning , super clean , the location is for best. There is free parking, breakfast is good , beautiful dining room. Thé place is safe. I can just say that if you have a problem with stairs , make a mansion of that to get the first floor. I was offered the first or second and I took the second. if I would be coming back I would ask the first floor because I have I problem with my back and was really hard. That’s the only thing I can say I trend. I would absolutely with no doubt will be visiting this place again. we loved everything. A super lovely place , the people are lovely, ITS CLEAN, and all the rest. you even have free coffee 24/7. it’s a TO GO PLACE. for us it’s 5 stars bc I care for the cleanliness , daily room cleaning service, parking , and location.

Covid restrictions were in place during our visit, so the full breakfast advertised was canceled although you still could get a coffee. The price was not reduced to accommodate for no breakfast.

The property is within walking distance to many restaurants and a short walk to the water. The room we had was comfortable but as can be expected in an older house, the bathroom was very small. I would recommend the property to any one staying in Magog.
