Great location with shuttle service from and to airport. Clean and spacious rooms. Restaurant is good and the reception desk always give free food vouchers. Stayed here twice and both experiences were awesome

The airport was great super handy. Restaurant on-site was great, the staff there were amazing. The location was very handy to the airport and was fun to have the casino next door. The hot tub facilities were cool.

I always stay here when I fly through Calgary and it's always been good. I do enjoy the breakfasts. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. The rooms are very well appointed, love the king-size beds and the elaborate showers.

The only issue we had was that the free breakfast vouchers are for dine in only and only apply to specific menu items. We had a lazy teen who likes breakfast in the room and I have food allergies which makes it hard to pick between a few limited options. We decided to not use the vouchers for these reasons. But they are a really awesome bonus! Just didn't work out for us this time. Also if you're wanting to use the hot tubs try to get a room in that side of the hotel. The other side isn't connected so you have to go down to the lobby and walk past the lounge in your swimsuit or robe haha. We will know for next time.

We really loved our stay at this hotel. We weren't flying, but we normally stay in the airport area because it's a convenient location for us. It was quiet besides the planes (which we are used to), no traffic noise. The room was very nice, our teen loved the lights under the bed. The shower is very modern and I love the triple head. Room is clean and a good size. Beds were comfortable. We didn't get a chance to go to the restaurant but got drinks to the room and the service was speedy. We made use of the roof top hot tubs which were awesome and I love that they are open late (midnight).

Great shuttle service to and from the airport. Airport is only 10 minutes away. All staff were helpful and the shuttle driver named "Lucky" went out of his way to help people using the shuttle. (Luggage, correct airport gate, etc.). He also physically lifted a handicapped person from their wheelchair and carried them onto the shuttle and placed them into a seat and reversed this process at the hotel. Amazing!

This is my 2nd time at this hotel and I will definitely be back. Their room is a good size for a family of four, it's clean and well-lit. It was cleaned everyday and we got bottle water and toiletries restocked everyday. The free breakfast has a lot of variety to pick from and it tasted awesome. Loved that we did not have to pay for parking.

Got a great rate compared to other airport hotels and was delighted at how modern, stylish the hotel was. Airport shuttle and better than normal breakfast with great options provided. Room had comfortable beds, fantastic shower (a tv in the bathroom to play music), was quiet, and had a fridge. Would stay again.

Nitpicking ...Perhaps figuring out the design in the showers, to avoid water overflow to the floors ...

Both of us were pleasantly surprised by our stay - normally, you wouldn't expect anything from the airport hotel, except of a decent sleep and eatable breakfast, but "Applause" turned out to be way more than that - modern, clean and spacious rooms, designed for long stay, with great facilities, showers that you wish you had at home, TV in the bathroom (and even the bathroom scale!). The beds are comfortable, so we got good night rest - and surprisingly, very quiet, despite the proximity to the airport. Also, I don't even remember last time seeing the double room with two fully equipped working desks and two chairs - so two people can comfortably sit and work, if needed. Nice and friendly staff, very convenient to arrange shuttle to and from the airport (literally 7 minutes), and good breakfast which was included in our rate. All of that for $144 CDN ! We stayed in the hotel on our flight to Calgary - before driving to the mountains, and as we had to change our plans, we ended up returning to Applause for the last night of our stay. And I would return there next time.
