Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Host was very friendly and helpful. Location is terrific and very close to ski resort (as long as you have a car). Facilities were great - hot tub was excellent. Breakfast was delicious when we were able to have it.

Really lovely little Bed & Breakfast style place run by fellow Australians!! Was lovely to hear the familiar accent after being in the US for a while. The room was lovely, bed was comfy & the breakfast provided by the hosts was delicious. It is a little way out of town but that just makes it so peaceful in the mornings when you wake up with the quiet & views.

Curtis & Michelle are great hosts with great tips on what to do in the region. The breakfast was amazing and as if that weren‘t enough the location of the lodge is idyllic yet not to far from the centre of Revelstoke, as well as the surrounding National Parks (Glacier and Mount Revelstoke NP).

CanadaProperty was lovely. One criticism was the very specific breakfast timing - for us it was 8:45 which we assumed meant all guests would be together. This was not the case, and in retrospect I would have preferred a choice of timing (earlier). The 2nd item was that the ad mentioned a full English breakfast - this usually entails bacon, eggs, toast etc. instead, we were given 3 pancakes and that was all - while they were good, this is hardly a sufficient breakfast for a B&B notably for outdoor enthusiasts. This left a slight bad flavour to an otherwise delightful stay.

CanadaWe really enjoyed how beautiful the guest area was - both the communal and private spaces. Modern and super-clean, light and airy, felt new and sparkly. Felt spoiled by the excellent home-made breakfast. Lots of conveniences - they've thought of everything - wine glasses, small fridge to share, dishes and utensils if you bring leftovers... even lent us the bear spray for our hikes! Local art, book collection, and local tourism info, too. Curtis was so helpful and attentive! We'll always remember this place when we look back on our first vacation without the kids - and will stay here again when we come back to Revelstoke!!!
