The room was lovely, just as advertised on booking.com. The lady on check in was very sweet. We would highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was not available. As this has been mentioned as highlight by many other guests, we were a bit disappointed about it.

The room has a lot of nice details and is designed with great care! Our host welcomed us thoroughly and gave us a lot od tips for our stay in Matane. The location is well located.

This has nothing to do with the property - but across the road about an eighth of a mile away is a ridiculously bright McDonald’s billboard sign. It flashes and is brighter than a lighthouse. If you get that room you will need to use the blackout curtains provided. This is not the fault of the proprietors- just a bad zoning allowance.

It’s a beautiful home and everything was warm and inviting and immaculate.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent two nights with Sonia, one at the start of our trip around the Gaspe and one at the end. Both of the rooms were clean comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was available for an extra fee but was well worth the cost. Delicious meal and excellent service.

Pillows were too firm for our liking but I'm sure we could have asked for softer ones.

Lovely accomodations in a beautiful old home. Our group had a 2nd and 3rd floor room with jacuzzi tubs and sitting areas. Well equipped with good attention to details. Sonia was very helpful and friendly! The breakfast was healthy and delicious, worth the cost. English was adequate. We would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Bruine Océane. The welcome was very warm and friendly, and the room was delightful - such beautiful decor! Really appreciated the local recommendations for walks and dinner, including an offer of a discount for some places. Facilities were great, and location ideal for us catching the ferry early the next morning. Overall we would definitely recommend a stay here.

Nice large room with comfortable bed. We appreciated the luxury shower and separate tub. Sonia was very helpful in suggesting good places to eat. All in all, a great stay.

Nothing. We'll, not quite. We had trouble finding the hockey on the tv, especially in English. Lots and lots of channels, but how to work them a little bit of a mystery.

Everything. Sonia was wonderful, and there were lots of signs of attention to detail. The end of the toilet was folded with a flower attached. There were USB chargers with electrical outlets on the nightstand on each side of the bed. Around the carpark the grass margin had fresh fertilizer and grass seed. Lots of tourist information available. We were given a discount card for the local brewpub, and directions to an awesome bakery for breakfast (in-house cooked breakfast was out of season). Nothing could have been better.

Great location just off Route 132 in Matane, close to the river. Easy to find, friendly hosts, big comfy bed, quiet room. They offered restaurant suggestions and had a promotion that gave a 15% discount on food.

We had what I would call a suite on the whole top floor of the home with an incredible spa tub and large shower. Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating with good recommendations for what to see and where to eat in Matane.

Sonia the charming host is so welcoming and attentive. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the bed was very good. This Auberge is easily accessed off Rte. 132. Breakfast was wonderful and expertly prepared by Sonia. Personal touches are everywhere and made for a very pleasant stay
