I'd really have to stretch to come up with anything to complain about, which wouldn't be fair. The facilities and services ranged from exceptional to very good.

If you are interested in a property with beautiful grounds, friendly, accommodating hosts and a great jumping off point to the hiking and other sites south of the Saguenay, this should be on your list. The entire facility is spotless and has been well maintained by the owners for their 20+ years of ownership. This is very much a family operation with the kind of flexibility not often found with large "chain" operations. While there's not a "restaurant" in the traditional sense, there is a nice space dedicated to dining with nice views. You can make arrangements for breakfast and or dinner on a day by day basis, which provided great flexibility. There are "menu" choices for both meals with a good variety that should work for anyone. Everything was prepared to order and very good.

I didn't like to have to pay extra for breakfast, at CAD 18 per person that would have added another almost CAD 60 to the bill. Cheaper to get breakfast elsewhere. Also didn't like that the common area closed at an early hour, and wasn't even open our 2nd night there.

Our room was very spacious and had a nice storage area for a suitcase and a holder for another suitcase. It was great that there was a door directly to the outside, so we could easily bring our luggage in. The common area was comfortable and full of interesting books, plus a fireplace that we didn't take advantage of. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.

Very beautiful setting, very clean, quiet and well-appointed rooms. Beds were comfortable. Relatively close to the Fjord National Park and boat cruises for whale watching. Good grocery co-op across the street.

The room was so hot. A fan would have helped so much when it came to sleeping.

Breakfast was Nice although a little expensive. Hosts were knowledgeable about the area and helped us plan Many hikes as part of the park was closed. The grounds are amazing and Well-kept. A gem!

it was hot and they don’t have AC. the roof fan is not strong. they didn’t have an extra fan to use. we didn’t sleep well due to the humid weather.

This was the best trip we had for our vacations. We stayed 3 nights and the owners Michel and Marie Jose were super welcoming and kind. They exceeded our expectations and we would definitely go back without hesitation. Amazing breakfast as well!

Marie Jose and Michel are so kind and accommodating. We stayed at numerous locations during our trip to Quebec and Auberge du Jardín was far and away our favorite! From the immaculate views, to the thoughtfully furnished rooms, everything was perfection. 10/10 would recommend, already planning a trip back!

A charming guesthouse nestled amongst some stunning and steep rock walls. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the in-house restaurant served some excellent food prepared directly by our hosts.

Very spacious rooms with a very comfortable bed. Quality fittings used throughout. A very nice couple running hotel, apparently without staff! Nice feature of both inside and outside doors to rooms. Food prices quoted by booking.com are out of date and are quite a bit more than stated which was disappointing, however two other places to eat in village together with a supermarket.

We loved having two rooms together (our daughters stayed in the adjoining room) and a shared balcony facing the beautiful grounds. The common area was great for playing games. There is a grocery store across the street and the beach is a 15 minute drive.

A bit more room would be nice to store the clothes of a longer journey. There is no other place to eat in the near surrounding, the only other place was closed.
