When we arrived the room had an old, wet dog smell to it, but after a day of going in and out, it aired out pretty well.

Location was great. The staff was very helpful when we had difficulty navigating TV remotes. There was plenty of storage space for clothes and bathroom items. The furniture was very comfortable. There was a restaurant next to the office which had terrific food.

Booked a simple chalet, very basic but met our needs for a small get away. Clean inside, small spa type tub. Walking distance to the restaurant. Lake is Absolutely beautiful .

Well, it is a dated lodging and old odors do linger no matter how much cleaning is done. If a deep down deodorizing were to be done, they would actually need to take out the walls and all linens, curtains and bedding and put in brand new everything...

It felt like "being at the cottage by the lake". The room was ok in size, mattress was comfortable. The view was onto the parking lot but the trees made it all pleasant.

Be nice to see the Auberge support the area more as a dark sky friendly destination. Outdoor lighting at the facility could use improvement. Flood lights pointing up at the entrance are blinding when entering the property almost to the point it is dangerous (consider smaller, shielded units that aim down) and the string lights hung from the front soffit of the building shine light into the chalets all night long, even with the blackout curtains fully closed. Water view of the lake from the room and closeness to everything on the property. Very quaint. Loved the pool by the lake, outdoor seating areas, dock and outdoor games to play. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and conveniently located. Loved coffee in the morning on the dock! Love how pretty much the entire Lac Mègantic area supports the dark-sky movement, which is protective of the night sky as a resource and reduces light pollution. Best of all, the chalets are dog friendly!

The TV was difficult to operate and the instructions weren't as helpful as they could have been. The room was a bit stuffy before we worked out how to turn the fan on.

We were allocated a quiet room as we requested. We arrived to find a crackling fire playing on the TV. The room was well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, toaster oven, heater/cooler, overhead fan and TV. The bed was comfortable. We loved the location beside the lake and had a nice dinner at the on site restaurant. Recommended!

The beds were rock hard. There is not enough room for your bags. The bathroom is tiny. We were the only people staying on site this week and we were placed right next to the employee only storage room. The people eating in the dining room could see right into our room. It was a little too close for us.

Great location, great view looking at lac megantic. It is a terrific family fun destination. Pool is beautiful and the lake is stunning. Restaurant located on site is also convenient.

When we arrived there was a wine glass still with wine in it sitting beside the tub from the previous person to stay there.

We went during a bit of an off season was quiet and relaxing. We stayed in one of the rooms equipped with a kitchenette. Had everything you need.

When we arrived we decided to switch to a 2 BR chalet for about the same price a 2 separate BRs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent; clean and well kept. I recommend this property.

Not a real complaint, more like an advice... We booked the "Queen room" with 1 bed + sofa- bed. It was a little small for 4 people + dog to spend a whole week. And the sofa-bed wasn't the most comfortable, the "kids" (20/15yo) complained a little. Next time we will book a 2-bed room

The place is amazing, I loved the view and the kids loved to play with the kayaks and paddle boards. It's 3 minutes by car to downtown. And they also accept pets
