Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Staff amazingly friendly and courteous. Whenever a problem occurred it was delt with in a reasonably timely manner. The quirky 80's decore was actually charming. Hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

CanadaThe fact that there was no breakfast was a bummer. The construction right at the auberge wasn't expected. I would have chosen another location had I known. The really worst part was the fire alarm at 3am for no reason, no fire! I couldn't sleep after that, on the night that cost more that the other, the night before an eventful day. These mark low the value for the money and comfort ratings
The auberge has a nice design, the room was clean, with a balcony, the little extra toiletries were appreciated. The beds are comfortable, the staff are respectful.

I booked 2 rooms however when I checked in I was informed that only 1 room had been reserved. After a lot of fuss which included long discussion and providing evidence of 2 rooms, they arranged a room which was certainly not upto the mark

A person below us came to our door at 10pm to say that our walking around could be heard by her and that the night before the guests walking around all night keep her from sleeping. Hence. we did not sleep well with worry that we were keeping her awake!

CanadaEntrance to the hotel was blocked off. No communication was given about this. The hotel and rooms were a bit out of date. It would be worth the amount paid if had more renovations made. The pool was dirty and small.
My room had 2 doors so it was easily accessed. Big bathroom that was convenient with mobility issues and kids. Bed and pull out couch were both big and comfortable.

United KingdomThe hotel is very dated, smells of wet carpet, a lot of the electric sockets do not work. The bathrooms needs a really good clean as we found silver fish in ours. VERY noisy. The walls and floors are thin so we could hear everything next door and upstairs. Also if you are a walking visitor to Quebec City it is a long bus ride into the centre. Better hotel for driving.
The pool is lovely, the staff are very friendly and the to go breakfasts are great. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. WiFi worked well and the bus stops are very close.
