I went to recharge on my own and this place surpassed my expectations. Beautiful rustic rooms and all the spa pamperings you could ask for. I especially loved the yoga and the morning smoothies.

We went in winter and the family spent lot of time sitting next to the fireplace - we naturally used the given logs and requested more, with an offer to buy it. The lady was not very happy we were using more than 5 logs a night!

The cottage was spacious and clean and the location is very good, being right next to the river.

Some fine details could be attended to such as broken sauna lights, updated hardware and wood finishing a but all this is aesthetic. I just feel that this is such a great spot and a great spa that a little updating would put it right over the top.

The spa facilities are great. All keeps very hot and functional. The spot in nature is also impressive. Tho right along a main road, the back area where the spa is located is right on the river and you don’t mind the road at all.

There wasn't a mat for winter boots inside the room in front of the balcony door so when we went outside on the balcony with our boots and came back inside, it made a bit of a mess in the room that we had to clean up afterwards.

The location was perfect. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. I especially loved the whirlpool bath and the gas fireplace. The homemade banana nut bread for breakfast was wholesome and delicious. The staff was very friendly.

That they don't clean the room or at least make the bed. We asked the question as to why or where does it say the hotel does not clean the room and the answer was because of covid. The breakfast was ok but too much plastic used for it.

The room was lovely and the sound of the river whilst falling asleep is amazing! Just needs a bit of refurb and some areas were a little dirty. Highly recommend the massage!

lovely small hotel with a couple of former houses now being used as a hotel---room was spacious--bed was comfortable. property is beautiful--about 50' above a small river. Property has some lovely pools carved into the rocks above the river---sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy

The rooms weren’t as clean as expected. (Breakfast leftovers from previous guests in the fridge, old coffee pack still in the machine, smell coming from the clogged sink) No access to any amenities unless you pay for the spa daily @ 79$. (Not even the pool or the river) Only one staff member to allow access to spa stations so the wait was long at times. No different options for breakfast ( no diabetic options even when asked) Pool & hot tubs had debris in them. Construction on the main deck could have been more discreet considering the strict rules about not disturbing guests stated everywhere. No regular hotel conveniences like ice machine or phone line to the front desk. If the price included spa access then I would be more lenient but at this price, I expected better.

The view was amazing. The river is gorgeous and the neurospa bed was super comfortable. The area in general is very nice and relaxing. The small staff was hardworking and pleasant. A lot of saunas to access and the massage chairs were great.

It’s a place that sells the fact that it’s a spa & have your wellness at heart but if that’s the case, they should not cut corners and provide the cheapest toilet paper which disintegrates as soon as you touch it… the type that you see in public schools. The breakfast is a lunch box that they leave at your door in the morning which is ordinary and there is no restaurant at the main office.

Loved the hot tubs in the beautiful setting outdoors in nature, as well as the saunas. The staff is welcome and accommodating. The room is warm and comfortable. Love the gas fireplace.

Breakfast was perfect - there was the exact amount of proteins, fibres and fruits for a morning. The discretion of staff and visitors was perfect. The cleanliness of the room and spa facilities - perfect. Accommodation, instructions and billing - perfect. Ambiance - perfect. Massage - perfect. Access to out doors facilities, paths and stairs was accessible at any time despite the continuing snowfall. What I liked the most was when somebody took care of my cell phone and reading glasses as I have left them near the pool. Thank you to that person!

From the booking ad, we’ve been under the impression that access to spa is included in the price. But that was in fact the hot tub in the room, not the spa facilities. Anyhow it was not such a big price difference but it would have been useful if that were clear from the description to adjust our expectations accordingly.

The spa facilities were above expectations! A real spa gem! Even if it was so close to the 117, the sound from the road was not a problem at all. It was nice and quiet!

Everything was great!

Everything was beautiful, really cozy place. For a couples get away is excellent. We paid the spa $120/each. The staff was really kind and helpful.

very unorganized : i had booked a massage and they told me it wasn’t booked and they couldn’t find another slot for me so they reimbursed me. then the following day i received a call whilst at the restaurant that the massage lady was waiting for me. i couldn’t go obviously. no apologies. not even a gesture. they even charged me the 10 dollars for the flip flops that are mandatory to go to the spa but it doesn’t say this anywheee on booking.com or their website.
