One night, arriving back late from touring in Montreal, we tried to enter the hotel through the door nearest to our room. It was not accessible (yellow light flashing instead of green) undoubtedly due to security and the late hour. We entered through another door okay with our key cards, but when we got to our room our key cards did not work. The hotel is large and we had the very farthest room from the lobby. After a long day, the walk back and forth seemed like miles. So more information about what doors not to use up front would have been helpful and saved us quite a trek.

The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, if a typical American hotel breakfast. What made it such a great experience was the staff persons. Line and Michele were hard-working, extremely friendly and very solicitous of the needs and wants of myself and my husband. They kept the food bins full, were ever vigilant in wiping down counters, tables and equipment after spills and crumbs, etc. When they had time, they chatted with us and helped us practice our French speaking! We looked forward to breakfast every morning of our four night stay because of them. The rooms were spacious, very clean, as was the entire hotel. From the hotel location, it was a breeze to access Old Town and downtown Montreal in our car.

The timing of the housekeeping service was not optimal, causing minor inconveniences. While this aspect could be improved, it didn't significantly detract from the overall experience. - In summary, my stay was good, blending positive aspects with a few areas for improvement. I would rate this hotel as a solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience.

On the positive side, the hotel boasts a fantastic swimming pool, which was a refreshing retreat. The coffee served at breakfast was delightful and a great start to the day. Additionally, the convenience of free parking added to the overall value of the stay.

Handicap elevator where you need to hold on to button for it to move needs to be updated. No vending machines on premises was told to go to gas station nearby. Ice on first floor only despite having area for it on 2nd floor. Was almost charged $10 an hour for late check out despite being told it was free. Checkout time is 11 AM not 12 PM as stated on booking.com. Hotel would not accomodate for that.

Nice clean room, comfy bed - Everything we were looking for after a long day on the road as a pit stop for the night. Friendly and helpful check in staff. The included breakfast was good. Plenty of well lit and safe parking available.

When booking, I requested early check in as we had a wedding to go to and a 3:00 pm check in was too late. I received message from hotel to say they would accommodate us. When we got there at at 1:30 pm told we could check in but would have to pay $25 extra. No mention of this in the earlier message. Of course, we declined the offer and additional charge. We were not happy.

Elevator is old and a little scary and didn't workwell. Behind dressers needs to be cleaned everyday as there was garbage from previous stays.

Housekeeping was a little inconsistent and did not provide the same items every time they cleaned our room.

Breakfast was adequate with a wide spread of condiments. Reception staff were friendly and the check-in and check-out process were both smooth.
