Comfy easy to find great location.close to several as well as very nice beach across the street. The sunsets are beautiful and evening walks are hard to pass up.people on Cape Breton are the best.i will be back.

Because it's the basement not really a view as cars parked in front of windows. Your windows are located under the owners deck. But close to walk to beach and there is a small deck area beside the driveway. The upper deck in photo is owners. Little bit dusty in spots but overall clean.

The apartment was immaculately clean and had all the amenities you could need. It was bright and open and really felt like home.

Only things that would have helped me more was knowing that washer / dryer was available for a small cash fee. Also, the host needed a heads up we were on the way but confirming through booking.com apparently didn’t go through while I had limited access to wifi and no cell service in Canada (maybe operator error on my part?). Other than that, had a lovely time in Port Hood and at Beachview Apartment.

Great place, super clean and well appointed. So nice to walk to the beach in the morning.

There was a sign on the washing machine in the unit that we had to pay $5 per load. I would think that could be included in the overall cost, especially when you see the washer/dryer in the photos of the unit while booking. At the very least that information should be included in the description so you are aware ahead of time.

Great basement apartment offering a great view straight down to the beach. Large rooms, kitchen and a great lounge area would be perfect for longer term stays. Very quiet location too

The location was perfect. Wished we could have stayed longer. We so enjoyed the fully equipped apartment. Everything was spotless and so comfortable. We so appreciated the recommendations for nearby restaurants, and instructions from the TV to the coffee maker. We loved the view and our own private decks. Hope to return next year!

Looking at the property on line ,we assumed that on could see the beach. This was a basement apartment with no view of the water. Very disappointing. There should have been some type of railing going down the steps. The bedding was washed in scented soap. Really!

Basement of the owners' house. 2 very small windows where you can see the sea, but in front of one of them was parked the owner's tractor which blocked the view. Noise of the owners the first night until 00:30 and noise at 7am the next day.

It is a basement apartment and that is not stated in the description. It was noisy upstairs . The apartment is not bright. It’s quite dark and not what we were expecting.

It was very clean, spacious and right across the highway from the provincial beach.

There was a very small issue which we told the owner about and I am sure he will see to it immediately!!

It was close to the water we walked on the board walk it was beautiful.
