Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaThe mattress and pillows are not extremely comfortable. This wasn't a big problem for us, but for somebody who is very sensitive to that sort of thing I can imagine it being an issue.
The location is highly accessible from the airport and from downtown. If you follow the instructions carefully, check-in is pretty easy. The view from the apartment is great--love those sunrises--and the apartment itself is spacious and pleasant. The kitchen was generally well-appointed; it was very nice to have an oven, especially. The apartment is also generally quiet and has a private feeling.

Canada- alot more fees and extra payments than expected for this property -> tax and cleaning fees were higher at this location than my other stays in mtl -> parking fees were ridiciulously high. i was told that the parking 'ranged from $20 per night' but i ended up paying 90$ for two nights - this stay at a bnb felt more transactional than being welcomed to their home -> i drove from toronto and arrived in mtl a bit earlier than check in. we weren't allowed to check in earlier (i believe check in is at 4pm). at the same time, the checkout is at 10 am and we had no flexbility in checking in or out or else 'we'd get charged an extra late fee' -> with such a steep cleaning fee already and being jaded by many instances, asking us to tip the cleaners felt a little unneccesary I understand that this is a bookings and bnb operation but these actions made it feel more transactional rather than being welcomed to stay at your home for price and experience, i would have chosen a hotel/motel to stay at instead
- host was communicable and willing to help for check in - balcony during the summer was amazing to sit outside on (the ash tray is a bit weird as it wasn't really an ashtray but a cone with sand?) - spacious location

CanadaEntering the apartment is like a whole struggle in itself. You have to watch videos and what not. The parking is crazy expensive for the underground garage.the location of the garage is also not clearly explained. We had to waste 2 hours just roaming around trying to find the entrance to the underground parking.the owner is only available on messages.they send you numerous messages the day before on how they will charge you if you dare delay check out by even 5 minutes. All in all not a good value for money.
The appartment is just like shown in the pictures. The location is quite central and very close to downtown.

South KoreaFirst, I wasted over an hour in the pouring rain due to being provided with the wrong lockbox code, and although they said they would compensate for this, I received no compensation. Second, to check in, I had to watch two YouTube videos and read lengthy instructions, making it feel like an unwanted treasure hunt. Third, despite many guests experiencing difficulties with check-in, I felt insulted by the explanation that it was because I was Asian. Fourth, I heard from locals that it was an illegal lodging, which made me want to give up on checking in, but I had no other options and had to stay. Fifth, the bed was squeaky, the furniture was old, and there was an unpleasant odor, but it was bearable compared to other issues. Sixth, it was quite a distance from the train station, making it difficult to carry luggage by walk.
Due to the car noise, I can't open the door, but the view is nice.

CanadaThe side streets your forced to park on are short and narrow and extremely crowded. The AC is very old and load and barely keeps up. Keep the bathroom door closed as the ceiling fan runs 24/7 with no way to turn it off. The bed mattress has to be 30 plus years old, it is beyond form and squeaks the second you touch it…I would have slept better on a park bench. Pillows are very thin/flat and the sheets look like spares at an old cottage. Shower curtain is old with rusted loop the rings go through to hang it and the bathroom ceiling is stained orange. I had left over toothpaste on the bathroom sink tap. Parking forces you on the street where there is ZERO parking due to the residents that live in the area. So you are forced to park underground where a truck doesn’t fit. I had to buy parking from the hotel next door as they have a few spots, it was $35. Bring your own USB charger cube cause there are none there to plug any electronics in.
Location within the city was good for where I had to go.

CanadaWe paid approximately $300/night before tax. A few kitchen essentials were not clean when we were attempting to use them to cook. The pillows were quite flat, and there were no extras. The mattress provided disappointing comfort during rest. The TV was not logged into Netflix and in a different language (not French, English, or Spanish).
Balcony was safe and well equipped, and the windows let in lots of natural light. The A/C kept the unit cool during what was a warm few days.

CanadaI really enjoyed my stay at this condo! The videos how to open the lockbox and how to find the condo were super helpful. The condo itself was extremely clean and very well equipped. The view of the city was impeccable. I definitely recommend this place to everybody.

CanadaWe had an amazing stay at this cozy condo. It was very clean and the view was spectacular! The detailed check in instructions were easy to follow and crystal clear- the hosts even have a video to make the check in smooth. The location is fantastic- we have parked our car in the underground parking as parking downtown is hard to find - it was worth every penny. We hope it will be available next time we are in the city.
