I come in to town to visit our kids from Bancroft & usually on weekends. Other hotels in area raised thier rates 200 300 400 & 500 we found this 129. Plus taxes. Staff, amazing everything amazing I would definitely stay here now everytime we come to town. No more with other hotels. If you don't mind a little dated but super clean & quiet this is where you should stay.

There were a few guys downstairs who were nice enough but offered us crack a few times different people. It was off-putting so we just avoided going out for smokes on the south side. Didn't say anything bc they had a room and were nice enough about it.

Too much noise could be heard in the hallway. People arrived and continued to make noise till midnight. When I called the front desk, they said they would talk to them, but noises continued until 2:00 in the morning. Despite being extremely tired from my trip, I had trouble falling asleep due to too much noise.

The facilities have the heater on all time when the weather was not cold yet, its not comfortable to sleep, smocking odors all around. I had to cancel my reservation, they dont want to return my money.

Very convenient, we choose it in a road trip to Toronto. We arrived late at night and the girl at front desk was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was great with a lot of options.

Facilities were in poor condition, old and dated, lamp posts were loose, water pressure and temperature not the greatests, only had 2 towels for a room booked for 4 ppl for 2 nights, fridge and microwave stand in closet living not much room to hang clothes or store suitcases, not enough plug-ins for chargers. Expected Room and hotel in better condition for the price paid per night. Felt it was definitely over priced!

When checking in, I noticed one of the pillows was visibly dirty. It was not subtle at all. I called the front desk who came to inspect. The options given were replace the pillow or change rooms. The staff member was pleasant, but the situation was uncomfortable. At that point, I felt as though any room would not feel comfortable, so I had the pillow changed and had a hard time sleeping in a room I felt was not entirely clean.

Property was extremely dirty sheets were grossed asked for clean Sheets and towels it was worse than what was on the bed. The room smelled so bad of smoke and there was black mould on the windows. Could not sleep at all so I left around 5 am considering we checked in after 12 almost 1 am

Again, the smell of the halls and the smell of the room was totally unacceptable. For the priced paid I would expect way more of a hotel and rooms, but this one was unacceptable. If somebody smoked in that room, you should have done a deep cleaning of it.

Breakfast was good, I was surprised there were even pancakes as option.

Was only supplied half a roll of toilet tissue for 3 people, 2 towels for 3 people, thermostat didn't work (warm in room) and curtains do not close and highway bright lights shine directly on the beds all night long.

I came for a surgery in Scarborough this hotel was absolutely amazing with help they were kind courteous and did everything they could to ensure that our stay was the least of our worries. Our surgeon was running abit late when we called to see if we could check in later the girl at the front desk I believe her name was Suzy was amazing and stated she had no problems and not to worry just make it when we can they also recommended a specific parking so that we could easily get in and out with little walking since I was post op. The next morning we had to return to the surgeon to have the incisions looked at because check out was 11 and my appointment was 12:30 the hotel even let us remain in our room so I could rest in a comfy bed instead of a car and Suzy again even took the time to ask how I was feeling I can’t explain how much these little things made us feel so at home during our stay and I will absolutely be staying here again it was a beautiful hotel it was a shame I couldn’t use the facilities that come with it but it just makes me want to go back even more. I am originally from Whitby so I can also say this hidden gem is in a perfect location to be close enough to all major attractions of Whitby and Oshawa it’s a short cab to the centrum plaza or the Oshawa Center if you want some light shopping I would give this place 5/5 stars and they have Suzy to thank for that!!!!

The room was filthy and in disrepair. Tiles wee falling off in the shower and there was mold. The bathroom door was warped and falling apart and would therefore not close. In the early AM housekeeping got Into a very loud argument with the guest across the hall. I was embarrassed for the guest and appalled at the lack of hospitality and service on behalf of the hotel.
