Beware as not all rooms have direct access to their private bathroom. for some, the bathroom is on the other side of the corridor! Make sure you check if the room you are selecting has direct access, otherwise, it is a pain!!

Would be good to let people assigned to rooms 1 and 3 that their bathroom although private is in a different room across the hall. I arrived in Quebec on a delayed train, at 2am, and was wandering around in the middle of the night - eventually worked it out!

The room temperature could have been better. At times the room was quite cold.

We liked the location easy to access other areas and a variety of shops nearby. The staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. The breakfast selections were great and filling...we looked forward to this.

Have to pack luggage up and down a flight of stairs, but staff will help out with that.

Great little boutique hotel with excellent location and staff were super. With restaurant immediately below the hotel it was great but on this same street there were 6 or more restaurants within a block either way. Also lots of other small boutique shops and covenience stores close by. Within 2 blocks of the Plains of Abraham. Close enough to all the bustle of the Old Town area but far enough away there weren't throngs of people around.

The air conditioning was shooting its air directly on me while I was sleeping, which was annoying, but we just turned it off and opened the window instead, so it was fine in the end. It would have been a problem if we were in the summer though.

I wish there was a coffee machine in the room or in the downstairs lobby. Toilet paper was missing from the room when we arrived.

Excellent and friendly staff, the shower looked like it was new, overall very clean. My daughter loved the chocolate that was left in the room. They accommodated our arrival time (3am)

The food wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being on my last visit a year ago. The music was playing all hours of the day and night in the hotel lounge adjacent to my room. Although I wrote to inform the hotel well in advance that I was coming alone rather than with a companion, I wasn't offered a reduction on the price of the room. When I booked and paid for a second room for another friend, I was surprised that it was significantly cheaper than my room while much the same size.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the coffee was outstanding. The location suited my particular needs.

It is not really a hotel, rather more of a hostel type of accommodation. While the bathroom was private, it was in the hallway and not accessible from inside the room. There is no elevator and the staircase is like to heaven - long, steep and narrow. We were supposed to get breakfast for 15 CAD and lunch/dinner for 20 CAD per person, but that turned out to be false information. We were just charged at their restaurant as any other customer, no preferential price for staying at the ho(s)tel. Air conditioning had some part loose and was, hence, very noisy. There is no reception even during the daytime, if you need anything, you must go bother the waiters working at the restaurant at the ground floor.

There are several nearby places to eat as well as two supermarkets. You can use fridge and microwave in the hallway and get some plastic utensils. It is a good choice for backpackers.

It’s very annoying when your bathroom is outside your bedroom and you have to cross the hall to reach it. Try to avoid rooms 1&3 if you decide to stay in this hotel.

The bed was too squeaky. It made a loud sound on any movement, so it was difficult to have a good sleep. The toilet for room #1 was outside of it, which was not confy.

Close to city center. Delicious breakfasts (which are included) and lunches.
