Could used a mirror, none of the soaps were filled.

Cute little camper (which I don't think was made clear on the Booking.com website), but suited our needs. Was clean and easy to find. Outdoor shower very cool feature.

The lake front domes were very close together and the dome beside ours the clear part was directed at our outside sitting area so you felt watched all the time. Dome 1 outside area was very slopped so sitting at the picnic table or on chairs was interesting. Every so often there was a septic smell that you couldn’t ignore.

The lake and view were amazing- kayaking was awesome. Truly a little piece of heaven- thankful that the owners choose to share with the public.

The beach and dock was right in front of another guests dome and it made me feel like I was intruding on their privacy so I didn’t want to spend too much time there. The domes are also quite close to one another so even with the open window, I found we kept it closed most of the time for privacy.

The hosts were great. They had camp chairs and roasters readily available for guests.

Not much privacy as the domes are very close together but we knew this before booking. Not sure what was going on with the dock but it didnt look safe. It was partially submerged and was crooked. Rental of the kayaks was pricey so opted not to. It would be nice to have marked and designated common area (like a deck) with some seating at the lakeshore. The firewood was wet.

Perfect location for our Cabot Trail adventure. The dome was clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Nice and quiet. The nearby South Harbour beach is spectacular. Easy walk from the roadside.

The only thing I would say is that the finishing aren’t quite there for the price point. The overall vibe for clamping was great but at over $250/night I would hope for the trim around the domes to not have crumbling cement and a nicer kitchen set up. Overall I would stay again.

Nice location with great waterfront and access to kayaking and canoeing etc. Domes are super cute and unique.

They provided mugs and a French press, but I guess you have to bring your own coffee. Everything else was what we expected and really no complaints.

Fun option. Decent beds, bathroom in the dome, shower head was good. Had a little sink and counter too for cleaning up dishes. They have wood to buy, and you can borrow camping chairs. Picnic tables were in great shape. The zip line for kids was right next to us so that worked out well.

As the resort offers no food (there is a barbecue in front of every tent) a few utensils (perhaps a microwave and some cups and plates) would be nice. Otherwise one uses too much oneway plastic cups.

Blue Bayou offers only accommodation (we knew that). A small restaurant and a shop (where you can get breakfast and fresh coffee) is about a 10 min drive away. Location bank at the shore was phantastic.

There is no stove inside the domes so you are still camping in that sense. I kept forgetting that we had a bathroom and shower.

When you first drive up, you're not sure what to think. It's a bunch of geo bubbles dotting the woods. When you open the door to your dome, you are pleasantly surprised with your room. Nice bed, decent shower. And, when you walk down to the lake and your smile becomes permanent. They have kayaks, canoes, paddle boards there to use whenever you want. Great place for the family. The owner is very friendly and attentive and fun to talk with. The sunsets over the lake were amazing and it was very cool to lay in your bed at night and stare through the roof at the stars. Close to everything you want to see.

Novel experience to sleep in a dome for a night. Definitely closer to camping so with that in mind it’s a really fun spot. Very remote so lovely and peaceful

Currently there are no restaurants or stores close to eat or grab a few things. So make sure you do that before you come. Or a 5 to 10 minute drive will get you to a resturtant.

This place is a beautiful find. So close to the water and unique dome structures, just one of the options you can chose for staying in here. Stephan is the person who takes care of everything on the property. If you have an issue with anything or just want some knowledge like where to eat in the local area, he is always happy to help. Check out the stars at night over the bay, so many of them to see!

The resort has way too many geodomes. Even though they were mostly unoccupied it felt cramped, you could see more domes than trees

Well designed tiny house, with all the amenities, well equipped kitchen, nice outdoor area, well insulated.

Nothing major to complain about. The kitchen faucet was loose. The toilet paper holder was loose, causing the toilet paper to slide onto the toilet room floor. The spatula fell apart, and the number and quality of utensils could be better.

Our room (I think it is called the boogie something) was an old re-furbished small travel trailer with an outdoor (covered) kitchen, shower, and bathroom. It was very clean, and the hot water was instantaneous and hot! It was good, basic shelter that allowed our dogs.
