Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaRooms were very small and double beds were very small. Not sure how the other rooms are or if there are 2 queens rather then 2 double beds, they barely fit one adult and one child. The room did not have a lot of space.
Love the location and the pool and hot tubs. Nice property, clean and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the walk out balcony as well. Nice little spot near the village but not right in the village so it’s quieter and not over packed.

United KingdomVirtually everything in the resort seemed to be a money grab; you can't even hike the trails without paying! I 'Blue Mountain Beach' was very feeble (although there were some people there who seemed to be having fun). I can't begin to imagine the type of people who actually return for a second trip.
The Inn is situated approx 10-15minutes walk away from the "resort proper"; or a 3 minute drive. It is modern and comfortable, if a little soulless. It's effectively a business hotel / conference center I believe. The breakfast (not included in our rate) was fine. The resort as a whole struck me as a weird combination of Vegas, a Theme Park and a French ski resort. Off peak, when queues are short, some fun can be had if you're into zip-wires, "mountain coasters", and high wire courses. Plus a few more 'low adrenaline' activities. Nothing can be bought individually; you have to drop nearly $100 per person for a 'day pass' which gives unlimited access. We went in the summer; the ski slopes, such that they were, were VERY short (say 500m). Good for absolute beginners, maybe, but not much more.

CanadaWish there was more flexibility with the play all day pass when staying for a few days. It's a very expensive pass and would of liked to do the activities over the span of the days instead of all on one. Accomodation very expensive as is would be nice to have some sort of offer for pass/flexibility. Also a shuttle to and from the village would be helpful, to avoid driving back and forth and looking for parking each time.(not far walk except when your with a kid and dog haha)
First time staying in blue mountain and weren't disappointed. Wish we could afford it again, it was a treat. Loved how welcoming they were to our dog. The room was a nice size and very clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. We made some special memories we won't forget. Mini golf, mill pond trikes and swimming were our fave! Thanks for a great experience. Also thanks for housekeeping staff for saving my toiletry bag until picked up! Really appreciated that as well.

CanadaI liked everything except... I realized at some point during my stay that: 1) there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to deal with steam from the shower; and, more disturbingly, 2) the 'vent' in the bathroom was directly 'open' to the bathroom next door. I discovered that when I unintentionally became witness to conversations of the other unit's occupants. It was as if they were right in my bathroom. Privacy for both myself and them was unacceptably compromised. This was the only disappointing aspect of my room and stay. Was it just an anomaly to Room 330 and the next door unit? Or, is this a situation that is repeated between other rooms in the Inn? Although, overall, I was pleased with the site, this situation would give me pause before choosing this location again and/or cause me to 'check' a future room before unpacking / settling into my room. If I found the same situation in another room, I'd be asking for a room that did not have that setup and/or asking for a full refund.

CanadaThe coffee was awful, and there was no creamer to put in it either. We ended up having to go to Tim Hortons in the village.
We ordered take out from Jozos for dinner which we enjoyed very much. We loved being able to take the dog along with us and the dog park was a bonus! The location was great. A very short walk to the village. Comfortable beds/pillows .
