Found a lot of hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The furnace was also very noisy throughout the night which was really unfortunate for a light sleeper like me

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Loved that there were Netflix and Prime on the TV. Check in and check out were both efficient. Everything we needed were provided for - even the things you wouldn’t think you would need!

The towels were clean but stained yellow and the toilet paper holder is all rusted. I didn't understand how we were allowed to park and use the beach at 1 pm but the bracelets to use the beach were in the room and check in wasn't until 4 pm. I also received the code for the room very early in the morning, this should've been sent way later in the day as it is unsafe for someone to have the code while there are still people in the room.

The location was great.

not much bad to say about it, I do feel the price for a two night stay is a little more expensive than I would have liked but the location was great.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable, and lack of a microwave was a slight inconvenience. Also a kuereg coffee maker would have been more convenient. There was an electric kettle in a cupboard, but when we went to use it we noticed a small amount of water in the bottom that must have been left there by previous occupants or missed by cleaners and was filmy in appearance.

The location worked great for us, and the suites decor was updated and quite nice. Nice little front deck with BBQ provided, and additional picnic tables under nice shady trees. Good bang for your buck.

Didn't like that we weren't at the lake. So misleading as the name of the place, the description and photos make it seem that it's on a private lake but it is NOT!! Tons of locals at the beach and you're not right on the beach. It's a good walk. Also, paid for a cleaning fee but it didn't feel all that clean. Sheets and towels didn't smell fresh. My dog picked up some broken glass by the sofa!!! Seriously?!? Since this place is like a motel/hotel, shouldn't there be room cleaning daily like all other motels/hotels (housekeeping I think it's called)!? Made dinner and breakfast during our stay but the place smelt like food all wknd as there's no fan to blow out the smell of cooking. Lastly we could here what was happening in the next suite over. First night we were there, they partied till 5am so that kept us up.

Only thing I liked was the fact that we can bring our dog with us

The barbeque was super dirty and was not in a usable condition (there was a wasp with eggs inside). It looked like it has never been cleaned. The place was too small for a family of 4 (they should not show this option as suitable for more than a couple or a couple with a small baby). One suggestion to property owners- please put a stopper in the bathroom sink and a strainer in the kitchen sink.

The availability of everything you need in a small space was good. The utilization of every corner is done to an excellence. Availability of kitchen was good. Heating/cooling options were good.

The property was not clean, despite the speech about hiring great contractors. There was hair found throughout the unit, and on the “new” bedding, body hair in toilet and urine on the seat. Because it was a pet friendly unit the room really smelt like dog. After noticing this it made us really question the true cleanliness of the property. The unit is creaky, trees rubbing against the roof, toilet water constantly running, and noisy from the main road. Also, because we let the host, Dan, know about what we found when we got there he assured us in an email, that we still have, that we would get our cleaning fee back… since then, after almost a half dozen texts/emails he has yet to do so. I should also note, Dan specifically told us not to leave a review after our first phone conversation about the amount of hair found and pre-existing broken sink cupboard we found when we arrived.

The fireplace was nice. Close to Blue Mountain.

The room was absolutely beautiful. The place was well decorated and fresh looking, with everything you need, from a complete kitchen, fireplace, dining table, big screen television, nice size deck outside and a large gas BBQ. We even took advantage of one of the corn hole Games on site. In fact, it was better than the Western Harbour Castle, that I stayed in while in Toronto a few weeks ago, and a steal, at one third of the price. And the beach was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely come back in the summer for a longer stay, and take advantage of the beautiful sandy beach.
