My room was dated with some finicky sounds thru the evening. The lever on the toilet handle was busted. Temperature control was off for the cool season. There was no Clean Remote Program. Look for this option.

Location was good. Value for money. Really enjoyed having a kitchenette with dishes and extras. Keyless entry was easy and the patio was nice for the morning. Plenty of parking. Beach theme decor was nice for penticton

Was hard to find our room in #103 turns out it was past the office along the outdoor patio past the pool and straight ahead along with numbers #106 or 105 - 102 so after a few to many times around the building we did reach our room.

The room was larger than expected. Had a great outdoor area (although closed for the season). Good parking even though shared had lots of room to park options. Had a large kitchen, nice interior with a bright vintage vibe better than other hotels and motels I have visited and found a great deal. Tv with Shaw, air conditioning worked great same with the heating. Provided nice shampoo, conditioner, and soaps not the standard low quality, with unique refreshing scents (took them all home).

Got a notice that the desk would close at 5:00 pm, I tried to call them but was not able to get through to anyone. If you are on a motorcycle you can’t just answer your phone or read messages and you are dependent that your room will be available, this caused me to ride much faster than I wanted to, uncomfortably so and we made by 5 mins after 5. Turns out the desk was still available they replied to my message and we had no problem getting the room, a 5:00 pm deadline is never good when you have long distance travelers at the mercy of road contritions, traffic and road work to get there so be aware of this. I almost canceled the booking but would have lost close to hundred bucks cancellation fees, hopefully this gets resolved and accommodation is made for later arrivals.

Great location. Older property but presents well with good beach theme. Although did not use and some was closed due to the season, the courtyard area is lovely and welcoming for guests to enjoy (I.e. pool, hot tub, BBQ area).

The Bowmont requires lots of upgrading. There were stains in some furniture and the floors could be cleaner. One of our party didn’t like the musty smell in their room and another’s said there were burn marks in the bathroom floor.

The building has good bones and lots of retro character. It is an excellent location for families to access the beach and recreational activities and for everyone to get to the waterfront. The pool looked nice but we never used it. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The area was quiet.

The furniture is very worn out around the pool and in the common area. Pool is great but the concrete liner is coming off in big sharp chunks. The AC units in the rooms do a good job of cooling but they’re ancient and very, very loud at night. Going without AC is absolutely impossible in the Okanagan summer heat. Calls to the office weren’t returned, and we stayed 3 nights without ever getting any housekeeping service which was surprising. I would still stay again, but will come with lower expectations.

Great facilities like the BBQ area, overall the concept is really fun with the retro vibe. Close to the beach, quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Just the floors were really dirty, our feet were dark with dirt after only an hour or two walking bare feet in the room. The rest of the room was clean. Wish they would mop the floors between stays. The first room we had only had a/c in the main area and not in the bedroom which was a problem but the staff happy moved us to a new room with a/c in both.

Had to sweep the floor and run a cloth over the hood of the heater in the washroom..😔 There is no electric outlet in the bathroom for hair dryer or curling iron. 😔😔

Our room could have been a bit more clean.

Really liked the location and atmosphere. So close to all of our favorite things to do, great pool and just so inviting and fun in the courtyard. Staff were absolutely amazing to deal with. Extremely accommodating. Our whole family agrees this will be our go to spot each year! They have lovely BBQ area where people can come together. They had live music on the weekend and such great personal touches by following up.

Paid a lot of money for a poolside room due to it being necessary to keep an easier eye on my special needs son while he was in the pool and instead we had a room with zero pool view and our main view being the outside wall to the maintenance/laundry room. No hairdryers, no ice machine and none of the machines in the laundry room was working. I lugged 50lbs of wet soapy laundry to the Riverside motel next door where a friend was staying so I could finish it there. Frustrating af.
