There was an old, dirty band-aid in our bedsheets which made me wonder if they had been washed. Also had a hard time getting towels for showers.

Very conveniently located in downtown Canmore. Easy to walk to and from nearby bars and restaurants.

Cleanliness of kitchen sink. Loud beeping of access code pads to get into the rooms (avoidable with earplugs). Small and not really comfy common areas.

The bathroom and room were clean. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were provided in the showers, always enough soap and toilet paper. Very easy check-in and check-out. Wasn't as loud as expected from the bar below the hostel, so you could sleep very well (maybe because we stayed there during winter and during weekdays).

Need more options for female-only, didn't feel overly safe with one of our roommates and he was very inconsiderate. One bed was also missing a curtain which would have been terrible if I hadn't asked to switch. I think the space is too small to be considered a "party hostel". Doesn't really allow people who want quieter time to get it.

The location was absolutely awesome and the staff was super friendly. It was also very clean.

The codes that were given for check in didn't work for the both of us. But the person who we text fixed that for us right away.

I liked the people that were their, met two wonderful ladies and that we can keep our own food/cook whenever we want. The location was beautiful! Right in downtown. For the price of two nights it wasn't so bad!

The unlocked 🔓 door into my room frontdoor even didnt work ..and over packed rooms with to much air freshners leaking on everything was gross and was right by my head i unplugged it as my lungs 🫁 couldn't handle it I am Is asthmatic but that's besides the point. Some girls' bf were staying in the lobby for free clearly on drugs, and I mean, we know it's a party hostel but clearly not a trap hostel location. Very odd stuff is going on . Few things I definitely don't recommend paying for .spent most of my time in the suv to do my reading as it doesn't give you that warm chill vibe like some locations It's nice to see the kitchen done better as it's just thrown to the wolves with no structure. Be cool to have the lobby not look like it's a homeless shelter .If you're going to run a hostel in the heart of a beautiful mountain town. Then, use some of your money to put it back into the building. This is a place where people are excited to travel not be grossly disappointed. Granted half the people are drunk so you don't notice but still room for improvement. Thanks for the stay

Kitchen was pretty dirty and hostel was loud till late, tho we knew that coming in so not much of a complaint.

The common area was very messy, dishes everywhere and fridge overflowed with very out of date food items. Communication wasn’t there either with trying to contact with a problem that was never answered.

Not very clean, the curtains around the bunk beds are falling off and the locks on the doors going into each dorm make a lot of noise. The showers also get cold in the evening. The hostel itself feels old and in need of an upgrade.

Sound proofing is poor between rooms and common area. Talking in the common area can be heard in the bed rooms.

Unfortunately the kitchen was a mess. There is also no reception desk and no one attending the guests, which is probably why the kitchen isnt cleaned by guests regularly. Trying to call or message isn’t the best option as it can take hours or next day response. I think there must be someone at the property so that guest can go to for any issues.

The location is everything. Right in the middle of village near shops. Rooms and bathrooms are clean.

Women's bathroom was not clean. No sanitary bins (?!) and one main communal bin not emptied which was overflowing with dirty nappies, used sanitary products and all sorts. "Local live music" was terrible. No staff there at all meaning no help and also had none of the communal friendly hostel atmosphere you'd usually find. Also security on main door was poor- we were able to just walk in before our booking as the keypad on the front door was not in use and therefore just open to anyone. Disappointing.

Centre of town location is great. Cleanliness of room itself was fine.

We tried to get in contact with the host several times with no luck . Would be nice to get help and questions answered... Everything worked out in the end anyway.

The location was excellent, and the bed was comfortable. We were just across the hall to the bathroom. Stayed during the week and it wasn't too loud.

The fact that poor people have to resort to staying in hostels because there is no housing in Canada. Kudoos to the hostel for welcoming them. That is not a criticism of the hostel. Everywhere I travel I see poverty and Struggle.

Our door code didnt work to get into the property after it locked at 10pm, our room was missing the bottom part of the wall behind our bed, were surprised to hear a baby crying at 11pm since they had no children allowed posted online.

I got 4 emails PER DAY for 3 days prior to our stay, all with the same VERY LONG and outdated message each time. It stated there is a mask bylaw for the hostel and Canmore so we had go buy masks before we arrived- then it turned out they weren't required. Our code didn't work to get into the building but worked fine to get into our room. Room only had 1 outlet to charge anything, no A/C (which is fine) so we left the window open but there's no screen on the window letting bugs in. The email stated there was parking LOT which was false- it was 4 stalls right in front of the Cannabis store on the back side of the building so there was never any parking spots available. The hostel is located in the middle of downtown Canmore where all of the streets are blocked off to vehicles so even getting to the building carrying our gear was a challenge.

Room and beds were fine. We were only there overnight and traveled light. Room was right across from the ladies room so it was easy to get to. The music from the patio until 3am was good tunes if you don't mind not getting any sleep. We always bring ear plugs and an eye mask which is recommended for this location. The fresh air while sleeping was really nice.
