How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room needs another sitting place in the one room loft. One comfortable chair and then table chairs not the best when there are 2 people in the room. The bed could have been better quality as well, a proper hotel mattress would have been nice. Shelf space in the bathroom would have been nice. Parking at $20 a night is a bit much, should be part of the room cost, you have a parking lot.
The location was great. Room we had was nice, clean and fairly comfortable

Rooms were a little too slow to heat up or cool down, can hear some noises from outside but nothing unmanageable.

We can hear people from the other rooms, the elevator (#203) until 4am Friday & 2 am Saturday), was not able to sleep. Not soundproof.
Spacious, clean, new and modern, vertical well equipped, very nice staff. Convenient and close to everything.

Somewhat in an industrial area but close to downtown Niagara. Falls about a 30 min walk
Very well appointed. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well supplied with cookware.

We can’t ask for more. 90% soundproof. Better ustensiles, glasses (kitchenware) would be a perfect 10. Missing oven would be from 9 to 10

Paying for parking.
The hotel was great. I would definitely stay there again! It’s a short walking distance to Clifton activities and the falls.

Sound insulation could have been better. We travel with earplugs and a white noise machine so it was fine for us.

Not quite as central to the tourist areas compared to other hotels but worth the walk based on how nice the rooms were and how cheap parking was.

No regular TV channels, TV not user friendly to older guests. Not enough space for toiletries in the bathroom, Maybe the bed can be a little higher. Difficult for older guests to get up from lower points.

Walking needed to reach the Cannery Lofts, if using only bus to get around.
Location was excellent, just a short walk to the American side of the falls along via the Clifton Hill area. Room (King Studio) was a comfortable size with kitchenette. Bathroom was a comfortable size and clean. Restaurants available within a short distance by walk.

Bed was low to floor, only one set of towels, but I asked for more and the staffed got them for me right away. Didn’t have a hair dryer ( fortunately I had brought my own, although I think if I asked they might have supplied one.
Very clean , well stocked, with all kitchen supplies, all dishes, pots snd pans, they had oil, salt and pepper. staff was excellent , I forgot toothpaste and they had toothpaste’s brought to our room and location was perfect

Nice large place but nowhere to sit, only beds and barstools. Waking up before everyone needed nice comfy chair and lamp maybe😊

To our disappointment, the sound isolation was very poor. At night we were disturbed by the neighbor watching sports and awaken early by the kids running and screaming out loud in the corridor. Apart from that everything was on the top and I would recommend this place as a family hotel, but be aware of the possible noise.
