Outdoor carpet on the stoop needs a good vacuuming. The windowsills need a good washing. The outdoor patio sets need a good power wash or scrubbing.

Beautiful, quiet property. Great common kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster and wash up sink. It's not a Hilton but we prefer the motel experience (our 2nd stay)

The facility is a bit old and could use a renovation. The bathroom water tasted weird and couldn’t be used for brushing the teeth.

The room was spacious and clean. The address was very easy to find and although we arrived late, they had provided the key inside the room for more convenience. The bathroom was also clean, and the essentials were provided. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and the location was pretty close to the 1000 Islands cruises.

Booking.com represented that the motel had beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River and Islands. While both were nearby, the motel itself has NO view of either. View of the River is completely blocked by tall hedges across the street between the motel and the River. We were looking for a motel on the River so we could watch the ships on the River. Thought we had found one, so that was a disappointment. Informationally - Access to the motel rooms is difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Anyone requiring wheelchair or walker access would need to have significant assistance getting into the motel room. I have lousy knees and balance issues, so getting to and from the room was difficult, but doable. I was kind of surprised that the bathroom window could not be opened--was painted shut. In the States there must be a second means of egress from a unit for fire safety. Perhaps that's not the case in Canada.

The motel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. While the motel itself is a vintage style and some of its facilities are dated, the units have been very well refurbished, it was very comfortable and the owner very friendly and willing to assist with any request.

The tv did not work. Audio worked but could not get a picture.

Clean and comfortable room. Quiet and beds were comfortable. Fridge and coffee maker in room was great. The two complimentary bottles of water were a very nice touch.

Everything was a bit outdated and not that clean. Some things should be fixed like the blinds.

Good place to stay if you want to explore 1000 islands. The cruise across the street is a very good one. Spacious, quiet place. Comfortable bed as well.

Hot water came out a cloudy blackish color at first- It dissipated after a while but still was a slightly cloudy. The floor was dirty in a way that it had not been cleaned properly for some time, lamps or light bulbs malfunctioned. The room didn't seem to be maintained or cleaned very well so I didn't feel very comfortable.

Location is great, down a nice quiet road.

Bed linens very nice, but mattress way too firm. Would suggest owners use foam mattress toppers to soften mattress and a choice of thick and thin pillows would be great.

Quiet location. Well kept property with lots of flowers in pots. Lots of outdoor chairs and patio tables. Owners very nice and attentive. Rockport boat tours you can walk to just across the street. Paved biking trail within minutes of motel. Handy to have the 24 hr accessible kitchenette room if you like to bring your own food. Nice family style restaurant less than 10 min away in Lansdowne. Gananoque only 10 minutes away also.
