Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

United StatesWe were warned in the agreement that the back room could flood, but though it wasn’t flooding, there was a puddle on the floor in back room. We only needed two bedrooms, so that wasn’t a problem. However, if we did need 3, there might be some concern with the back room. The living room was so enormous with tons of couches/seating so someone could easily have bunked in there if the 3rd room had issues. I would definitely stay again.

CanadaThe back dorm has no instructions to locate the light switch, which is behind a dresser. It was difficult to see the room when we arrived very late at night the first day. Jamie was great and showed it to us the very next morning.
Our host Jamie was exceptional!!! We couldn't recommend this place enough, spacious, great location, clean with super natural light. She was extremely helpful, making our stay very relaxing. Thank you!!

CanadaThe cleanliness of the kettle and coffee maker. I was only 50min from home so I just went and grabbed mine. Chimenia is in very rough condition. The BBQ caught fire from not being cleaned. The hosts brought us another one but the grill was rusty.. the utensils drawer could definitely use a cleaning. Had little bugs in it. All are easy fixes to keep guests happy. They have comfy beds, lots of towels, extra blankets. Nice area to take a stroll. The Hosts Jamie and Terry are very nice couple.
It was quiet. Perfect time to relax.

CanadaSome of the items were either very dusty ie coffee maker and others barely functioned.ie can opener. The kitchen was difficult to work in as there was very little counter space. However, everything was workable if with a little work around.
That we were able to book something relatively close to Point Pelee National park when our AirBNB host cancelled at the last minute and then re-advertised at a higher rate. 😬
