The toilet didn't work properly. The tank didn't fill up after flushing. I notified the desk and they were going to send someone up to fix it. It wasn't fixed. Most of the time, I would have to remove the tank cover after each flush

The location was excellent. I like the option of not having housekeeping.

You could hear the ambulance, police and cars passing by the hotel, even with close windows.

Although the location is lovely, some areas can be sketchy and might feel unsafe for some. The only complaint about our room is that the air conditioning needs some work — the living room space cooled beautifully. However, it does not reach the bedroom, making it stuffy and hard to sleep in.

The hotel was situated well in a way. It had an Italian restaurant and coffee shop within the vicinity. It is adjacent to Downtown Vancouver, which gives you access to the SkyTrain, various food places and the shopping district. The pool was a delight to see —it had the convenience of a shower, which was my first time seeing hotel-wise. The room that we had also had a kitchenette and pleasant to stay in. The view was a bonus.

The room was supposed to be a newly remodeled room and that was interesting because there was nothing about the room that was new, maybe the carpet. All walls were white with no decor at all. I’ve never seen anything like that. The room was 90 degrees when we checked in so we turned on the AC unit. There is no way, ever, that unit would cool or warm the suite, the setup was too strange. We were lucky that we could open windows and the door to the balcony. The thing we did love about this suite was all the windows and the view. Almost made up for everything else. If it’s warm out bring a fan. The one they provided was broke and the only way we were able to use it is if we placed our sons giant shoe on top to keep it from rattling so loud, hence the maintenance man. The location was perfect and convenient. Next to a hospital that was interesting but I heard that was moving so that will be a plus in the future .

The staff were wonderful, the front desk and bellhops. The one maintenance man we dealt with wasn’t real helpful but other than that we liked everyone.

With a hospital next door there were frequent emergency vehicle sirens that we weren't used to. Bathroom was on the small side but it worked.

Spacious living area. Could open windows. Kitchen reasonably well equipped. Staff were helpful when approached. Had a supermarket within easy walking distance.

It was clear after a day or two that they have multiple different Nespresso coffee machines. This was a problem for getting housekeeping to provide more coffee in pods that fit our machine.

Everything was good for our stay in Vancouver.

There were 3 of us but only 2 coffee cups and 2 wine glasses. We clearly booked a room for 3 adults. I was told the beds were queen size but they weren't. They were doubles
