We had to wait 30 mins for a shuttle to come pick is up after our arrival at Yellowknife Airport. Reception kept telling me the shuttle wouldbe there in a few minutes.

I was on first floor so I had to keep the curtains closed usually all the time because it was on the same level as the parking area. The room had some areas that could have been cleaner. There were a lot of stains on the bed skirt and there was some splatter on some areas of the walls.

Big room. Nice and clean washroom. Nice and helpful staff. My fridge didn't work but someone from maintenance fixed it right away. I needed some cutlery, someone from the restaurant brought it. I asked front desk for recommendations for tours and they were happy to help.

There was no warm greeting from front desk staff, and their expressions lacked any hint of a smile. When I asked questions about hotel shuttle, their responses were unenthusiastic. It left me feeling unwelcome.

A bit far, but walkable distance from the downtown where you can find food. (There's no Uber food there) Not so sound proof - can hear people walk above the room.

Bed is so comfortable. Clean. The tour picked up us last and sent us back first because we are far from downtown.

A little far from the main street Breakfast buffet was very ordinary especially for the price. Supper was reasonable for a burger. Didn’t try the more expensive options

On our second day the shower curtain was smelling terribly. I asked the front desk to change it, but they wanted us to wait until the next day because the cleaning crew was gone for the day. When I insisted and proposed to change it myself If they provide a clean curtain, they sent someone to change it. the furniture on the lobby needs replacement

The front desk was very accommodating. We were a party of 10 people and came early, they gave us plenty of space to leave our luggage while our rooms were ready. The room was big with plenty space to put all the clothing we rented for our stay, The bed was comfortable, the restaurant breakfast buffet was convenient and not that expensive. The hotel is walking distance to a supermarket, Aurora Village Offices and a pub with really good food.

The only unpleasant moment we had was when we tried to contact the hotel once landed in Yellowknife to understand how the shuttle service works, there was no answer.

The place has character: the display of indigenous art works, the photos of the Yellowknife landmarks all over the hallway and inside the room. The restaurant is just amazing. Bus shuttle service is included.

Two things - 1) one of the front desk team was abrupt and rude - but we experienced 3 rude Canadians on the plane so it might be a cultural thing 2) this is beyond the hotels control but a notice to in the corridors (in all languages) asking people to respect others - I was not impressed to listen to people being loud and talking about how their boots kept their feet warm at 3am in the morning.

Electrical wall outlets are limited; sofa bed is super lumpy; hotel is understaff specific to housekeeping; food at the restaurant needs a lot of improvement

Location is centrally located meaning it is near grocery stores, bus stop, restaurants, government/interesting places such as museum, Yellowknife Old Town.

The housekeeping on 4th floor could be friendlier (they never said hello or smiled back) and could definitely clean better!!!

Room service is a problem

Hotel was good and clean, staff was a lil issue. Nobody ever answered the call for room service, multiple times I had to go myself down to talk about any issue

The only thing that I would mention, is when I asked the house keeper to empty the garbage bins, she told me to do it myself and leave it outside my room. Not a big deal, but just odd as she was on the floor cleaning anyway.

We booked the executive suite which included a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room and a separate bedroom. This was very convenient as we stayed a week and we were able to save a bit of money by stocking the fridge with some basic necessities. The room was very comfortable and the perfect temperature on those cold February days. The main room and bathroom were clean. The bed was super comfy. I would just liked to have had an extra blanket.

The restaurant breakfast had a large tasty selection, but there was no option for getting just a quick coffee and muffin

Staff was very efficient, friendly, helpful. It is new and well maintained. Room was very spacious, bathroom had lots of clean fresh towels, the bed was super soft, comfortable. Convenient location to walk to town.
