Despite how the photos made it look, it was kinda beat up. My room could have been cleaner. The fridge and the heater/AC were ridiculously loud.

As in previous reviews: the digital check-in and door-keys via your mobile, are maybe for (older / other) guests not simple (a horror), however if you are used to it’s okay. No parking on site, two blocks away plenty and free public parking available.

Stayed here before and always book 103, because this is silent and spacy room. Simple but effective hotel.

Noise from the bar below is an issue, if you can't deal with noise then best not to stay there. While our rook was listed not above the bar it was above the bar entrance where people came outside to smoke and chat. Not a big deal for me as I sleep soundly..........but this place is not for everyone with noise sensitivity.

Great location right on the main street in the heart of all the action! Easy to use the self-checkin and check out. Loved the history of the hotel and the town.

We hated the self check, in it took us a long time to do it cause the instructions were not clear and no staff after 5pm, plus there is a slogan "we are not your grandparents hotel" GUESS WHAT, those were better times! where actual people could help you check in and open the doors for you!! We had a power outage in our room... where was the staff? Nowhere! They came one hour latter, and another guest and I fixed the problem ourselves. Im 34 by the way. I still give it a good review, im just annoyed with the attitude of the hotel

Lots of reviews mentioned the loud bands downstairs we were in room 103 and heard nothing in saying that it was a DJ not band. I would stay here again maybe just not band night (Thursday night). Also the key system is via your phone, a little annoying but worked fine.

Everything was clean except that some of the towels had stains on them. I'm sure they are clean but some new towels may be in order.

Staff went above and beyond. For example, the gentleman working at the front desk offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs when I first arrived. Later, I asked him if I could use a landline and he lent me his personal phone for me to make a call. The list goes on... staff could not have been more helpful and friendly :) Located in an excellent spot with many restaurants within walking distance and a view of the mountains right at the front door. The 'loud bar' was non-existent on Thursday night and although I did hear a little on Friday night before I went to bed, this did not interfere with my sleep. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and it is very much worth the money.

The pub was noisy as advertised, especially the low throbbing base, maybe turn down the base a bit
