Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaNo car parking is a big issue, I mean everyone visiting comes with a vehicle. Give us a sheet with free parking streets is an easy fix I guess but how long will that be available by the city? The construction in the morning was bad, I know the folks supplied ear plugs and they were appreciated but didnt make too much of a difference and we were woke up very early.
Everything was great in the property, very central and easily accessible

United StatesThe restaurant down below had their speaker right outside the window so we could hear their music until 11pm.
I liked the location. The town was cute. The hotel definitely allowed for an easy stay that was close by everything.

CanadaIt was quite noisy on the Saturday night with the music in the bar downstairs. They did provide ear plugs though
Located in the heart of Squamish. Close to fun cafe’s, restaurants, bars and boutique shopping. The property is really funky. The rooms and common areas were all really clean and the staff were beyond helpful and friendly

United StatesThe hotel did not tell us that there was a bar with live music right below our room that played till 1 - 2a. This impacted our sleep! They should have put us in a room in the other wing.
Nice accommodation with comfortable beds and great view.

United StatesBecause this room and most of rooms in this corridor are above a Tavern, there is loud, heavy live music that plays Sat from 12-2am. The management should provide discounts for these rooms that are above where band plays. Also, if these rooms are on booking.com, there should be a warning in advance that these are heavily impacted by loud band music after hours.
The room was well designed, comfortable bed, kitchenette, small fridge, coffee. Great, attentative and responsive staff! I would give a 10 if it had not been for loud band that shook the room.

United KingdomTook a little getting use to with the keyless/virtual check in. Its a novel idea which we had never experienced before but it worked well.
It was a great little hotel right in the middle of town, super easy to find. Quirky design but unique. We only stayed one night but it was a great pitstop as part of our roadtrip.

United StatesWasn’t sure about a self check in process but it was super simple, I wish every hotel operated like this! Cool, clean room and a comfy bed. Parking wasn’t bad either, just a short sidewalk stroll. I got there later than intended and didn’t get to hit the bar, it looked fun but could hear music playing late even in the king room which was advertised as the more quiet option. I’m a sensitive sleeper though and I was fine. Cleaning staff I passed on the way out were very friendly!

CanadaThis is an old building and sound carries, not just the sound but the vibrations from the sound too. There was a band in the bar on the Saturday night of our stay and I did not sleep until after 2am. We had been warned it would be noisy but that was unexpected. I just wouldn’t stay here again if there was a band in the bar. The other two nights were fine.
Great location in downtown Squamish. The rooms have been renovated and are very funky and clean.

CanadaNo parking in front, construction behind the hotel, now blocking the view to mountains, when it says mountain view. With construction, you have to drive a detour around and can't walk across to hotel, have to detour again.
Easy access to rooms, door. Not noisy on weekdays for queen rooms on east side.

CanadaWe didn't think it through but our room was right above the bar. Sure enough on a Friday night, it was going to be noisy outside. The hotel did provide earplugs but since my wife is a light sleeper and was worried that our two kids may not have good sleep it was not ultimate. It turned out the kids just slept fine. But as parents, we did feel uneasy so it didn't make up for a great night's sleep. However, the bar closed at 2 am so we did get some quiet time by then. Next time, we would make sure that we're in the room furthest away from the noisy bar. For what it's worth, they had an awesome band playing all the great songs.
Awesome for a quick stay in town and we were very happy overall with the ease of check-in, the staff and the simple setup of the room.

United StatesThere is no staff at the Squamish Crash; all communication is by text, which was a little off-putting to me, but I'm probably older than their average guest. They do not provide any parking, which proved to be a real problem on a holiday weekend. The hotel bot got back to me about it at least 12 hours later--no good. At best, you have to park several blocks away from the hotel, which is uncomfortable at night for female visitors.
This is located on the main street on Squamish, near everything and easy to find. I was surprised by the comfort of the room (the name implied it would be a good place to, well, crash)--comfortable, clean, with original murals on the walls. Scrupulously clean. I expected it to be somewhat loud--they warn you it will be--but it was quiet and nice.

CanadaWe stayed on Sunday before Victoria’s day, there was music playing downstairs, it was loud but acceptable, we’re young so we don’t really care too much, the problem was that the party moved upstairs beside my room, they were very very loud screaming and yelling.
Cleanliness was on point, location was perfect, very friendly staff and pet friendly

CanadaThe doors to the room are quite thin so you can hear every word people are saying in the hall. We were warned about the bar on the street level being quite loud, they provided ear plugs. The sounds from the bar we not that disruptive but the sounds from the hall were.
The hotel is eclectic and fun. Good use of space for the size of room. Loved the little kitchenette, very well equipped. The location is great; on the mail road of Squamish.
