May Long weekend prices should not be $200 more each night, than any other weekend. Because it's "tournament weekend", all Kamloops hotels black out any discounts through corporate rate, CAA, Seniors discounts. Knowing that all rooms will be sold, at rhe highest price, the Kamloops hotels, not just the Coast are price gouging, which is actually, illegal. The rooms are rhe same as any other night, therefore, the prices should be offered at the same prices.$1100 or 3 nights, when any other 3 nights would be less than $600, is disappointing.

Room service dishes left in the hallway overnight & thru to next day even tho housekeeping staff were visibly working & cleaning rooms. I'm not sure why that happened as the hallway was cleared of the dirty dishes for the next 2 days. It's not a good look when the dishes are left!

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The housekeeping & all staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking.

Hall cleanliness was not great. Smoke smell in hall and cannabis smell when we first checked in. Lighting in room could have been better. Restaurant menu quite limited.

Services

The breakfast was good but felt that some of the waitresses services were off to non Caucasian. Was their with a family 7 and just observing thru the couple hours we were there it's pretty sad. Honestly I won't go eat there again but the food is good

Hotels that advertise as per friendly should have pet rooms available. The up charge to "convert" a room is just greedy.

The fact that the pool area only opens at 9 am. Would be nice if it could open a bit earlier. Other hotels we've stayed at you could access the pool as early as 7 am, and my kids always like a morning swim before we leave.

We loved the pool area!. Nice spacious pool too. Hotel staff were welcoming, polite, and helpful. Nice location, just across the highway from the mall, which was great since we came for the shopping!

we booked the hotel for the hot tub and it was hardly hot on the Saturday night we stayed. Then ?Sunday it was lukewarm and dirty looking water. Maintenance had been informed Sunday and then the pool and tub were shut down on Monday family day weekend. We had skied at Sun peaks and were very disappointed about the hot tub. Room could use a central overhead light..it was kind of a dim room. Bath room had no exhaust fan so mirror steamed up when having a shower and did not clear when you needed to shave.

The fridge froze out salad. This is likely not related, but if you want to use less energy for your refrigerators, allow air space on all sides; that is how heat is removed from inside. Ours was tight against left side; I moved it to the center of cabinet space. My wife used the bath tub but found that the water level dropped quickly. Most of these stoppers do not seal very well.

The decor was a little dated in the room and halls compared to other Coast hotels we have stayed at, we were also placed on a pet friendly floor when we had no pets with us and were kept up by a dog barking for a lot of the evening

A beautiful hotel with a very unique theme. The room was very tidy and clean, bed comfy and staff all very helpful and friendly, we love the jungle theme in the pool area of the hotel.

I tried to get ahold of a manager, for about a week previous to my stay. That was impossible. I had a day surgery one day, and the next day, a C.T. scan. Since I live in 100 Mile, an early check-in would have been nice.

The rooms are always clean. I stay there 2 to 3 times a year. Whenever I'm in Kamloops.
