The only negative was it was dated. That said, we knew this from the pics and it wasn't important since we didn't spend much time there except to eat and sleep.

The evening clerk was amazing. She was helpful, friendly, and knowledgable of the area. The room was quiet, dated but clean and it had a stove, oven, and fridge. They also had a laundromat onsite. Oh and the cleaning person was awesome - coming to the door to see if we needed anything.

Property needs updating. Bathroom had black mould in the corners. Breakfast very basic. Staff could have been a bit more friendly.

Chose it for reasonable convenience - not too far from the airport after a long haul flight.

That fact that we paid for reakfast in the cost of the room and then had to pay again in a restaurant.

I didn't get breakfast as we arrived for breakfast at 10:05 and were told that it stopped serving at 10 and we were too late.

However there was a bit of a musty smell in the room upon our arrival and the ceiling above the bed I slept in (room 206) there must have been a water leak from the room above prior to our stay as there were stains on the ceiling which probably accounted for the musty smell in the room.

Everything was fine. We appreciated the fact that we got a room on such short notice. The staff were awesome.

The hotel was a little dated, but we knew that. The room was very clean and comfortable with a bonus small kitchenette. We choose it because of the price. It was at least half the price of other hotels in the area and was just fine for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

First room, toilet didn't flush, then when it did flush, the water wouldn't stop running. We were moved to a new room which was lovely, but the air conditioner did not work - even on COLD and HIGH, we were uncomfortably warm.

Housekeeping staff need more help the 2 ladies I saw appeared to be very exhausted and couldnt keep up thier housekeeping duties. I asked for my room to be cleaned only 3 times in the 9 days I was there and it was only cleaned once my bathroom and my floors were left very dirty and bed wasn't made. I left a tip on the bed all times and it was still there which means they did not walk through the room except in the entrance where they only grabbed my garbage. The bed pillows were very bumpy and uncomfortable. They could definitely use an upgraded new cleaning staff. I was a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Holiday Inn for 5 years and these ladies definitely would not have made the cut anymore for their position. The hotel is perfect but with poor staff can make quality drop.

The room was a great size, location was perfect. Close to everything eg. Bridge to halifax, shopping,restaurants. Staff was so accommodating and friendly. Stayed for a week was no breakfast because of Covid but was lots of snacks, yogurt, juice, muffins. Ended up being a bit more expensive buying breakfast everyday. Hopefully things go back to normal soon. Beds could have been more comfortable but did the trick. I liked the fact that they had a stove and oven I the room which you never see but they had no pans to cook had to borrow some from my family but it worked out perfect. Got to cook lobster in my room.. Now that's a Nova Scotia Vacay 😁👍.

The entire motel needs refurbishing. The carpet throughout(rooms, hallway, breakfast room) have spots and need replacing. The kitchenette needs updating. For example, the original refrigerator is there but doesn’t work.

The location for taking the ferry to Halifax. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Wendy. The room was large with a living room/kitchenette as well as a separate bedroom. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was clean.
