My sister and I come home every November to go visit our dad for his birthday...this has Ben the second year in a row we've dealt with a team of some sort running up and down the hall later in the night. Last year was jumping on the bed and screaming. Also the bathroom door needs to be lifted and pulled to the left to get it to close.

The upgrades to the hotel are fantastic. This place has need upgrades for years. It is so nice to see.

Noise from doors slamming from the stairwell exit VERY loud. Maybe put a shock on the door so it doesn't slam so hard. Driveway entrance to hotel was confusing. No clear road to get to front door entrance.

Renovation upgrades were very nicely done. Room was very well equipped with amenities. Water pressure was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were good and plentiful. Full length mirror was very handy. Parking was good. Overall impressed.

Our room for the first night had a non-functioning air conditioner. The poor staffer at the front desk had no recourse: the hotel has no maintenance staff and she was given no information of how to get things fixed. And the hotel was fully booked, so she couldn’t switch our room.

While still under renovation, you can tell it will be very nice when completed.

Absolutely horrible signage to find entrance...one tiny blue sign with a 'c' on it and 'enter'. Was not alluminated . Entrance is next to impossible to find especially in the dark when we were checking in. Not enough designated handicap parking. Two spots out back have no ramped access to the brick walkway which is in need of repair badly. The rear entrance key card near these spots is not working, the exterior light not working making an unsafe area. This and other keycard entrances were being kept open with small rocks. Totally unsafe. Management told me they were aware of all these issues but did not seem to care. Was told smokers, dog owners were using rocks, even where keycard reader worked. FIX THE KEYCARDS, LIGHTING, ETC AND KEEP THOSE DOORS SECURE. No signage on 2nd floor as to Room number location. No ice maker installed yet. Noticed several room windows cracked including mine.

A few things In remodeled room not done. Needs closet bar, bathroom fan doesn’t work, no doorstop on bathroom door. I had to crawl under desk to plug in phone.

We had no problem with parking, although it was limited by construction. The fitness center was closed due to construction, but the area was nice and a walk outside would have been fine too. There was nothing to complain about!

Our room was comfortable, large, and clean. We loved the bathroom, as the shower was the nicest and most modern that we had ever seen in a hotel. The bed was comfy. They were completing some renovations to the main lobby and breakfast room, but we did not notice any noise or dust. Staff and construction crew were all very friendly and helpful .Breakfast was available to take to your room and was a nice selection. The staff recommended a local restaurant where we had an excellent meal. We were there on Canada Day, not realizing that many stores were closed, but the antiques mall we had heard of was open and we spent some time there. The hotel was centrally located and it was easy to get around town. And our window looked down onto a Tim Horton's, so that was convenient for a coffee lover!

We had issues with a group of teenagers continously banging on our doors and waking us up. It eventually was dealt with, but I feel it could have been addressed sooner than it was. We also had a very poor working air conditioner in our room and it was very hot at night.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so it was hard to get a full picture of what it will be like, but we were really pleased with our room. It is very beautifully designed and was very clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast selection was fantastic as well.

The 7 screaming kidd across from our room we csne off the elevator to hearing them. After speaking with the front desk, they were reprimanded (a 3rd time!)
