Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaWe thought like other motels that we have stayed at that, you would have cleaned our room each day. We were a little disappointed when we got back to the room, nothing was cleaned or made. There was no clean towels for the next morning until I went to front desk.
We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.

United StatesIn order to lock the sliding glass door after I exited the room to the parking lot in the rear with my luggage or when I was leaving the room to visit family. I had to drive around to the front, go into the reception and back into my room to lock the exterior sliding glass door.

Canadawe booked this location due to it being “pet friendly”. once we arrive I asked if there was a deposit or a fee for my dog (which wasn’t listed online when booking). they proceeded to tell me there was a 20$ fee for having a dog, per night, fair. but then they tell me the room that’s booked is on the second floor and that animals are only allowed on the first floor and to change rooms would be an extra charge. very unhappy with the lack of information when booking at this location.

CanadaI wasn't impressed with the $250 security deposit being billed to my cc. Normally they just do a "secure deposit not actually bill you. This is what the front desk clerk informed me. She was pleasant enough to advise she wouldn't bill me as I was paying cash. If she billed it could take a couple of days to refund. Didn't make sense to me but I was tired and just wanted to go chill.
The bed was comfy and room clean. We were only here for a short period of time. Check in was easy and front desk clerk was pleasant. I reserved on line and the person ahead of me received a cheaper rate! I needed to book on line as we were driving at night and didn't want to be left without a place to sleep overnight.
