The restaurant in the hotel should be open later or all day with free coffee. There should be packages offered from the hotel with local attractions nearby.

My partner and I stayed overnight in a room with a big bathtub. We had champagne and saw a play at the St. Jacob's Theatre within walking distance for an early New Year's treat. The hotel was clean and the location was excellent.

They charged $75.00 for our dog - the Booking .com listing said the facility was pet friendly - there was no mention of their being an add on charge of $75.00. It stated there would be an reserve put on the credit card of $250.00 to cover possible pet damage. The $75.00 was charged on arrival.

I booked for a room with a kingsize bed and we got one with 2 very large doubles (?). In addition we had to pay $75 for our small dog to stay at the hotel and I think that prize is outrageous. At other hotels pets usually have to pay a $25 fee pro night. I guess that fee is supposed to keep customers with pets away! Our dog spent most of it's time in her travel crate. She travels a lot with us since she's a puppy and is very well behaved. I know of course there are other dogs but if we would have to stay at a hotel for more then 1 night we'd chosen a different one.

The room we got has been very spacious. The size of the TV - although we didn't much use it - has been enormous. We like the shower in the bathroom, some hotels still have the old fashioned bathtub. The room has been very quiet and even had a nice view, although it might not be as quiet during a work week.

Fire place would not turn off completely. Orientation of the t.v. from the bed was a little awkward. Bed a little too firm.

Very friendly staff. Room was very clean. Excellent value for what we paid per night. Next time we are in the area, we are definitely staying here again.

Fan in bathroom was noisy. We were supposed to have complimentary breakfast but got the little buffet for a tour group which wasn't very good. I was told that it was ok and not to worry about it.

People above us were heavy footed. They should always stay on the ground floor. TV menu is very slow.

Little quieter, little less expensive for amenities offered

Checking in and out was fast and easy. Our room was missed for cleaning one day, and a housekeeper opened our door without knocking first (privacy/manners). Our room was not quiet at all, you could hear the housekeepers banging walls early in the morning with the vacuum and slamming doors in and out of rooms, plus they were talking very loud outside suites.

There was no staff at the front desk when we arrived, had to stand there and wait. I saw another woman come in later and the same thing happened..I had to ask an employee in the bistro to get someone to help her…obviously not a busy day! There are no glasses in the room..not great for a cold beverage when you put ice in a paper cup!

A great location close to the market area. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed.

Do wish the starbucks was open longer as some people may not be early risers to get out and get their coffee in time.

Very welcoming to my spouse and dog as well myself, good clean facilities. Definitely a bonus to be able to bring our dog along and staff was very good to her. Accommodating to our needs was book for a room on second floor but had no problem switching floors to accommodate our dog.
