Overall I really rated our stay and would come back here again however, we went to cook a couple nights and the conventional oven took hours to heat up, the bake setting didn’t seem to work and we thought maybe they’d be salt and pepper to use but here wasn’t. But everything else about the stay, bedroom/in suite, shared bathroom, washing machine use etc were all above expectations

The property was in a good location for easy access to buses that took us to all the places we wanted to go. The street the house is on is really pretty and quiet with ample street parking outside

Absolutely beautiful comfortable room with ensukte toilet. Bath in the hallway adjoining. Quiet and serene home. View.overlooking the city and mountains down to the ocean. Clean and spacious kitchen and sweet little back patio where I shared a nice meal and a glass of wine with a fellow traveller.

They kept a big sofa & dinning table in a room it makes no sense only bed and 2 safari chairs with a cofee table was fine. The room didn't had a closet.

Thick carpet in the room had some stains. The room is a bit dated. It is a single family home, therefore other guests can be heard like you would hear your own family. In my case a young family of which I could hear their complete communication.

The view from the front of the house is amazing. 2 large windows show sight of downtown and the mountains. They put a chair in front of the window, allowing you to sit and relax. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Room was big and had a toilet and sink (but no door) in it. Bed was comfy. Easy access to the house via code and doorlock.

A bit far from downtown, but it has its adventage too!

The owner is really nice and the house quite big! The room has a lot of space but could use some decorations, it looks like there is the bare minimum. The bathroom is amazing though and I had a good night there :)

My bathroom wasn't properly cleaned after the last guest, so that the mirror was soiled with somebody else's toothpaste remnants, and there was tissue and an eyelash curler laying around. The only shower is shared with two other rooms. The rest of the house was clean. It was just a bit...untidy? There were cleaning utensils standing or lying around in many rooms, like vacuum cleaners, brooms, although there was space to store them away. It just didn't really give a relaxing atmosphere... The drawers and walk-in cabinet in my room had items that had been quite carelessly thrown in to hide them away. The people in the basement suite smoked weed in the yard, which blew right into the kitchen window (although it was closed!) and kind of spoiled my dinner with the smell. It's 30mins by bus or foot until you get to anything, like shops or cafés

My room was spacious, like, really spacious, and the furniture was all Victorian-style fancy, including the curtains, which I loved. There is a laundry room in the basement for guests to use, and a kitchen with fridge and freezer, too. The next bus stop is only a 3mins walk.

It doesn't matter to me, but there's no TVs. It is a bit out of the way to find. I just taxied, after my arrival. Taxi will coast $25 to get downtown Vancouver.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Big and spacious room. WIFI was excellent. Air conditioning worked well.

A bit far from downtown Vancouver (didn't personally have a problem with this, but this might be an issue for some). Closet where the comforters were kept was untidy.

The house is pretty, and is located in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood. The living room is nice and classy. We stayed at room 2. Our room was spacious and had a great view. Our bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean even though it's shared.

Bathroom sharing was fine, but it was a bit messy having so many shampoo/conditioner and body soaps left in the shower. Could be a little tidier.

We didn't stay for long, but the house would be a great base for an extended stay. A/C in room worked well.

Felt like there could be areas to improve on, even just having a small garbage in the room or a tissue box. The bathroom was close by luckily but being shared it’s not always accessible. There was another one with a toilet only downstairs. It was very basic and decent for Vancouver since a lot of places to stay are rooms in homes, but it was quite pricey for 3 nights, for what you actually get, in comparison to staying in a hotel.

Nice quiet neighbourhood, pretty clean place. Transit is accessible nearby but you have to walk a few minutes get to the bus stops. Was easy to get in and out with provided key. Air conditioning was a plus in the room, as the weather was hot during our visit.

The room for our first stay was quite spacious and bright. The house is cute and in a nice neighborhood and Simone was extremely helpful regarding late checkouts/early check-ins.

The bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked.

The area is nice, downtown is 20-25min by bus. Kitchen was fine, there is a nice little garden where you can have breakfast in good weather.
