great place, we felt like at home, kitchen has all utensils, coffee maker, toaster, all kitchenware, sharp knifes. clean towels, comfortable beds. it was perfect for our stay.

Only suggestion would be a motion light on the dark outside stairs. We came back from a late dinner in the dark and rain. Stairs were scary. Also a small thing to share : it took four of us to figure out how to turn on the shower. With such a unique style a little note would have been nice.

The suite was clean, well equipped and decorating was lovely. Beds were comfy and a good supply of towels. There was upstairs tenants, but were mostly quiet.

Unfortunately construction work nearby was noisy during our visit.

A great, spacious, well equipped property in a really good location to explore the Victoria area, with all the amenities required near by. We enjoyed a great 2 night stay here (family of 4 plus grandparents) when travelling down the island on our visit from the UK and would highly recommend this property. Arthur was a great host and was quick to respond when we had a query.

We drove right past the place as it was difficult to see the street address and it is a very steep road up to the unit. But once there is was great. The only thing missing was a barbecue.

It is a lovely unit with plenty of space and everything one could need for a kitchen except for no dishwasher. The patio area was quiet and private and a great spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

This was probably the best equipped place I have stayed in. It was like a home from home. The location was good. A 20 minute drive from Victoria and conveniently located to access other parts of southern Vancouver Island.

There is just one bathroom in the unit, so a group of six will need to plan ahead. :) Otherwise, everything was great.

We really appreciate all the little things our host thought of, such as a coffee grinder and machine, tea, a water filter, extra towels, shampoo, and dinnerware, in their quiet neighborhood of Langford, about 30 minutes from downtown Victoria. A copy of the door code, WiFi password, and emergency contact information was provided in an email sent before our arrival, and the same information was also left at the suite.

Two issues that I gave 9 out of 10: 1. There's only one washroom, while for a 3-bedroom normally we need more than one washroom. 2. The above neighbor's flooring that is the facility's ceiling is very noisy whenever someone walking upstairs. Otherwise, everything was fine! Thanks!

We used all 3 bedrooms (all adults) and found 1 bathroom a challenge. No dishwasher, wasn't a huge issue but large group created lots of washing. Also we went fishing and the freezer not working properly. Bottom tray didn't keep anything frozen.

Location, very clean, communication and instructions were excellent, comfortable beds, kitchen was fully equipped, terrace was lovely and in the shade so on a hot day it was cooler.

The kitchen sink is kinda janky. The faucet is cheap and loose, and the left hand sink drains exceptionally slowly to the point where it was unusable. A nicer faucet with a pull out handle would be nice because when one is washing dishes by hand, not being able to rinse out the sink easily is frustrating. The property introduction letter and check-out letter talk about starting the dishwasher before you leave, but there is no dishwasher present in the suite, which would actually be rather nice to have. The freezer takes a long time to freeze ice cubes and considering it was very warm weather it would have been nice to have more than two ice cube trays because the freezer simply could not keep up with the amount of ice we wanted to use. An air conditioner would be great because the weather was very warm and the suite got quite warm during the day.

The place was very clean and nicely equipped. We felt very comfortable in the suite and my girls loved having their own rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with a lot of extras like basic spices and many different cooking implements. I loved that I didn’t have to go out and buy soy sauce or coffee or the like because it was already there. The outdoor space was wonderful. I spent a few hours out there just relaxing and enjoying the lovely weather. The beds are super comfortable and so is the couch.

Loved the cosy basement suite. It was nice and we all loved how everything was provided, and the easy access to suite.

These were not a problem for us, but the only slight potential downsides for some could be a number of stairs to get down to the unit and you can hear walking of the people in the main home above. These were very minor issues and were not a problem for us. We had a minor struggle with one of the kitchen sink's drains - getting it to drain while not letting food items go down.

Unit was a great space. It was very clean, modern, nice unit. It had everything we needed - plenty of pans, dishes, kitchen items. Beds were very comfy. 3 bedrooms was great for us. Location was nice and close to the freeway, shopping, Costco, and central to all the directions that we were heading on Vancouver Island.

We asked to move into the house a bit early as we were traveling with two 4 year old kids and a baby, and our ferry arrived at a certain time, but it was not possible. The sink in the washroom was clogged. Lots of walking noise from the upstairs unit till late in the evening and even at night . Also, loud toilet flushing noise at night time in the back bedroom.

It was a very comfortable and very good sized appartment. Very clean. The kitchen had all you needed to cook great meals. The area was nice and quiet and only 20 min to Victoria. Stores close to the house and a nice park for the kids in walking distance .

Up a very steep hill. We noticed neighbours parking at the bottom of the hill because it was going to snow, so we did too. It would have been difficult to drive on with the snow. Also several steps to go down so not practical for person with mobility issues.

We’ll supplied kitchen. Neat and clean. Plenty of space and comfortable furnishings. Near Thetis Lake Provincial Park where we enjoyed hiking.

The place was exceptionally CLEAN!! It smelled fresh, the beds were very very comfortable, extra towels/ facecloths were appreciated! Upon arrival, we found chocolates and then more chocolates! The kitchen has just what’s needed, a huge fridge, double sink.. it was hard to leave as the property was so comfy! Definitely book this place, worth the money for sure
