Missing blinds on one of the windows and the resulting early morning light. Assume it’s fixed by now.

Almost everything- especially the location on a high bluff overlooking the Bay. Very friendly and informative owner. Added bonus was the pair of eagles in the tree keeping watch for fish.

Not a big deal but note that here is no television in the room or house.

This lovely property is right on the water where you can see the tides come and go while watching bald eagles fly and fish. The host was welcoming and providing a delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and had great views as well.

The breakfast was delicious at Cresthaven but there is only one limited place to eat out close by. Otherwise you have to go to Truro. But knowing that we just planned ahead to enjoy this special place.

Maitland was a hidden gem. Slightly away from the busy Truro, within a short distance from Burntcoat, with its own history of shipbuilding, up close to the tidal bore and magnificent viewing of the tide extremes, a up close view of eagles and not too far from Halifax.

The location is quite unique, just few feets from the water. One can watch the tide bore from the room window(!). There is no similar setting anywhere like that. Hosts are wonderful - waited for us though we arrive very later. The breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are upstairs and not air conditioned. It was unusually warm and humid during our stay so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.

The inn is right next to the Bay of Fundy. You can sit in the front yard and watch the Tidal Bore. The innkeeper is very knowledgeable to the area and offers suggestions of things to do and places to see. It was like having a history and cultural lesson of Canada to listen to him. Two bald eagles next in a large chestnut tree in the front yard. It was amazing to see abs listen to them.

Local food wasn't great, ate at Mudslide, a charming place walking distance away.

Quaint small town with beautiful home on water. Saw bald eagle as we arrived. Warren the host was wonderful and engaging when asked questions. Beautiful porch with Adirondack chairs, spent time watching shore birds thru binoculars. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, wonderful value.

Cresthaven by the Sea is a pretty high-bank oceanfront property, overlooking the tidal flats. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made for each guest. A walk to the tiny village gives guests access to a general store and a cafe. Fun place to spend a night.
