There is smell in the room. And the facilities is very old. Be honest, this hotel is not the best option, but if you need to join the night aurora tour, this hotel is the cheapest one of all pickup hotel choices.

The location is the best, it is on the main street. This hotel is for aurora local tour can pick up and drop back.

The inn faces a main road into the Old Town section, so there is a bit of traffic nose on the odd number rooms. The restaurant was closed for some reason, but the Explorer hotel had a nice dinning room, 5 to 6 minute walk

The nova inn is within walking distance of things to see and do in Old Town Yellowknife

Uncomfortable pillows. One of the staff was very unhelpful when I asked about extras. Lobby being renovated made it look very unwelcoming and untidy.

Good location. Airport shuttle is very helpful and the driver was good. Room was spacious. Good price compared to other hotels.

The room has dated carpet that feels like it needs a good steam cleaning. An update to better laminate/vinyl flooring might really help brighten up these rooms and make them easier to clean.

I was accompanying my mother to have cataract surgery and she has mobility issues. I mentioned this request in my booking and I had to change the room upon my arrival as it wasn't appropriate. The receptionist was thankfully able to change the room to one that was a better fit. The staff were responsive and provided any additional needs we requested. The room had an air conditioner and the beds were very comfortable.

The restaurant in the hotel The front desk person I dealt with on the evening of April 1 was very put out when I asked for a different pillow.

The bed was awsome. Nice and soft the way I like it. There was an incident across the hall from me. I thought it was handled well that night and the next day

Tap water was very small, I have to always use the shower. Coffee was not supply timely. People walking on the upper floor was noisy.

On the only main street of Yellowknife, the Franklin Ave, close to the entrance of Yellowknife, the Ingraham Trail for hunting the lights, visitor center, city hall, museum and legislative assembly, old town, the popular bistro for local fish, the ice road, etc. The room was spacious, clean and relatively quiet.

I would prefer a simple kettle to make morning tea in room than the coffee machine.

It was located at prime location near downtown and rooms were spacious.
