Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaFloors of renovated showers are very slippery. Hard edges make it dangerous for young children.
The recent renovations are fantastic. The location, as always, can't be beat. Staff was extremely helpful, even when I got into a literal tight spot in the parking lot. Went above and beyond to help. They helped us solve an issue with room placement as well.

Our rooms were very well appointed and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We had not been to Montreal before and were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised.

United StatesThe room was on the "cozy" side (i.e., small), but we were comfortable in two queen beds and it had everything we needed.
I stopped overnight in two directions on a long-distance trip through Montreal in an EV. Being able to charge at the hotel overnight made a real difference in my travel plans. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cute and clean. Bathroom was perfect. I often am annoyed by the sound of hotel minifridges going on and off throughout the night. The drawer style fridge was very quiet. I appreciated that it contained two refillable glass bottles of water instead of single-use plastic.

Very helpful front desk. Extremely easy parking. Fast elevators. Clean, light, very pleasant and well-designed rooms – everything you need. Hotel atmosphere quiet and relaxed – while location was right in the midst of the most wonderful neighborhood, e.g., a few blocks from the incredibly long run of eclectic shops and cafes on Saint-Laurent. Also amazingly convenient to have a metro station right underneath the hotel itself. Breakfast buffet was good and very convenient. The hotel is staffed by hospitality students, but they are total pros! The service was better, friendlier and more attentive than at many much pricier hotels. Moderate cost + excellent hotel experience + location made this a complete win for us. We will be back!

United StatesDorm-room style furniture. I actually hit my head on the sharp corner of the desk one night. No fun to have a bleeding bump at 3am. Also, staff stored large bins in the hallway outside our door. It felt rather industrial that way rather than luxury.

Location could not be better. The only proper hotel in the plateau. The worst thing about montreal is all the hotels are downtown or in the place des arts district. The location of this hotel is directly above the Sherbrooke metro. No steep hills to walk up and no sketchy neighbours you have to walk through.
