How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I had words with the owner about check in, he tried to fix things up after that.
It was quiet place, it was only for a stop over to break up our journey.

The common room was only opened after 4 p.m. and there was no breakfast offered (although there is a nice cafe a 2 minute drive away). We have stay in hostels in Europe and are used to making our own breakfast while traveling. It would have been nice if the common room was open between 7 and 10 a.m.
Very well maintained. Clean. Our room was quiet. Comfortable bed. Little table and 2 chairs to sit at to have a coffee and snack.

It is not permissible to use the swimming pool.
You can opt for two queen beds if you prefer, which was fantastic for me and my family.

Nothing, great sleeping stop on the way through Cache Creek.
Staff was great, attentive, knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Rooms were clean, organized. TV was easy to use.

The price / size room / (no sauna-pool). Why I say this? Room 22sqm I don’t call a suite as I booked for C$155,- a night and C$25,- for the dog makes C$ 180,- a night. Than you would have expected something else. However very helpful and nice hosts and they run the place with care. It was clean and we had a good sleep. So at the END all okay.
Renovated, well and with care maintained motel. Very nice welcome. Clean room. Bed okay, good size. Coffee-machine. Netflix. Plenty of soap in bathroom. Save parking.

There was a very thin blanket on the beds and only one additional duvet was provided in the closet space - we had 2 queen beds in our room. Worth checking as soon as you arrive in winter - I'm sure staff would have provided a second but we didn't realise until we woke up cold in the middle of the night.
A sparkling clean motel in a convenient location. The staff were very friendly and we spent a comfortable, quiet night there. The pool and BBQ area look as though they would be lovely for summer stays!

King bed was a bit too close to wall to get out easily
Great location and cute older motel. Most rooms had parking right in front. Cute courtyard with tables. Staff brought items we didn't even ask for. Believe it's family owned and run as same lady did it all.

My husband would have liked to watch TV news.
Very friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Able to heat or cool the room and open a window for fresh air. Perfect for an overnight stop but from what we saw, it would be comfortable for a longer stay.

Internet was a bit slow and at times unstable.
We enjoyed our stay here as a stopover further up north. We were very warmly welcomed by the lovely owner who also gave us some tips where to stop by for dinner and breakfast (suggest to follow the recommendation and visit Anni’s Pizza and Bakery, very good place to start the day with freshly baked goods). The location is great, very easy to find and close to shops and restaurants. And although it’s located on a busy street, you do not hear much of it. The room itself was spacious and clean, it even had a little terrace to enjoy the evening.

They just finished a major renovation so the pool or breakfast were not available. But the rooms were clean and comfortable. And the patio chairs facing the mountain were a nice touch.

Sure it would've been nice to take a dip in the pool in that hot weather, but we knew it was closed because of the renovations. It was somewhere in the description, so READ people or stop complaining!!!
Even though they're under renovation, they did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, getting us a screen for the window when one was missing and organising chairs to sit outside. Our rooms were freshly renovated and very clean. One had a very nice and well equipped kitchen, so self-catering was easy. Altogether very good value, highly recommended.

It was perfect for our needs, passing through for one night.
The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities needed for a self sufficient one night stay - mini kitchen with pots and pans and utensils, microwave and cutlery. The beds were comfortable and the office staff were super friendly and helpful. Great stay.

Super-convenient location right on the highway with very quiet rooms. Lovely bedding and spa-like decor. Access to an inner grassy area makes it even better. Staff were very friendly and happily corrected my booking error to confirm a pet-friendly room for us.
