The immediate neighborhood was very nice, but unfortunately the homeless situation in Toronto was much in evidence only a few streets away.

Our host was most gracious and the room was lovely.

Great location, nearby city hot spots, clean, with a tense of luxury and Dana is a woderful host. Starting with the tips for nice places in Toronto, ending with helping us with the broke down rental car. If we will travel again to Toronto, definately to Dana. ;)

Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people in the area. So hopefully that will get better in the future.

The room is spacious and has a lot of comfort. Dana is a lovely host. She gives suggestions and is also very interested. We felt very welcome and had a great stay. Surely would recommend staying, especially if you like a more personal stay instead of a stay in a more anonymous environment like an hotel.

It is fair to say that this place exceeded our expectations! - Dana is a wonderful and very accommodating host. She communicated everything beforehand and was very informative when we arrived guiding us to local restaurants and attractions. It is also fair to say that she was also genuinely interested to get to know us a little bit and also share her story which was something personal we thoroughly enjoyed! - The house is absolutely as advertised and then some, located in a quiet historic neighborhood but walking distance to many downtown Toronto locations - The room was spotless and amenities were provided (coffee every day, toiletries, towels and a welcome piece of banana bread) - An absolute gem for a bathroom with a Victorian era bathtub.

Dana was a superb host, and the accomodation was genuinely luxurious, super clean and comfy. Finished to a very high spec, this is not your average accommodation. One of the nicest places we have stayed!

Dana the host is a lovely informative kind lady. Made me feel so much at home away from so much so I felt like I’ve been in the property for a long time. The location was near some “rough” areas we were told to avoid during a walk into the centre. Other than that it was fine, we liked cabbage town.

Dana was extremely helpful and welcoming. Communication was excelllent. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for Dana and we felt incredibly welcome in her beautiful house.

Dana was an Extraordinarily Delightful Host at her Beautiful Downtown Luxury Victorian Retreat in Toronto. Her warm greeting and cozy comfortable home that she so graciously shared with us felt a world away from the large city easily accessible down the street from her piece of Heaven.

What a great host is Dana!!! From the first moment we walked in, nothing was too much. She was so helpful, explained about things to do, visit and answering our questions re Toronto. Both suites are really nice and one can tell she loves interior decoration.

Dana's Downtown Luxury Victorian Retreat was an elegant and welcoming oasis in bustling Toronto. We had the suite at the back of the house, which is decorated in a French style, with a very nice bathroom, really comfortable bed and little extras, like a small refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and teas. The suite was immaculately clean. Dana is a gracious, friendly, informative host and provided us with a wealth of information about sights to see and places to go as well as where we could get a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Having not been to Toronto before, this really helped us focus on what to do and where to eat. My husband and I will definitely stay at Dana's Retreat if we travel again to Toronto.
