Internet was intermittent, weak signal on 3rd floor, worked ok most of the time but be prepared for drop and disconnects. Hotel was not too busy so wifi performance may worsen when it is busy with multiple persons connecting to it. Smell of smoke in hallways and lobby, smokers congregate outside the main entrance door, smoke wafts into lobby area. Pillows were hard. Slight paint/plastic like smell when heat was turned on, electric baseboard heater. Not what I would call a romantic stay if that's what you're after but ok for a work stay.

Location was perfect for our needs, close proximity to our job site. Top floor room fairly quiet and clean, no smell of smoke in the room. Recently painted, carpeting fairly new, TV was ok, air conditioner (did not use it but it was there). Fridge, microwave, kettle for boiling water was nice for making tea. Bedding looked new/updated and clean. Bathroom was clean and everything worked just fine.

The only con for me was the weak internet network, had to do many trials before getting the access, to then keep it for a couple of minutes (but maybe it has something to with the fact that the data consumption is capped ?).

Good hotel ideally situated in downtown whitehorse, has parking, 2 restaurants nearby, allows to go anywhere by walk in downtown. Nice beds.

The hotel is above a bar, and our room faced toward its entrance so on Friday and Saturday night it got quite loud. The bar did also seem to draw in a sketchy crowd, and a couple times we encountered some questionable characters in the building. With that in mind, the staff at the front desk didn't seem to pay any attention to anyone coming and going. There is also a back entrance that is completely blind to the front desk, and remains unlocked. It's supposed to be locked at 11pm, but we went through the open back door at 2am. The beds were weirdly very, very bouncy, but comfortable enough. The TV was small, and didn't have Netflix, but it did have a Telus box. The rooms feel very outdated with their furniture and decor. That vibe is definitely throughout the whole hotel, where the rooms are "affordable" and it shows.

Great location in downtown Whitehorse. Close to everything: bars, restaurants, highway access, shops, and grocery stores. We originally booked one night, but arrived a day early, due to unexpected circumstances. There's also tons of parking available, either street parking or parking lot. Our room ended. We hoped to stay an extra night. The staff were super accommodating and got us into our room right away. We'd spent a week on the road camping, and the first thing we needed was a shower. The water pressure is SO good. We were also really excited that laundry facilities were available, and took advantage of them. The room had two queen beds, and was way bigger than expected. Might not have been the most modern or fanciest, but definitely a great value for the price.

Only concern is traveling with a lot of stuff in the car in transit to working a season in Alaska. It's not possible to bring everything into the hotel so unsecured parking was a little bit of a concern. Fortunately we experienced no issues. The hotel staff suggested the best place to park, which was appreciated and helpful.

Room was spacious. Snacks provided were a nice touch. Bed was so comfortable, bed linens also top notch. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

the only thing is that after like 10 or 11 i cant get back into the hotel without calling a number. I wish there was a keycard system or keys or something because thats a bit stressful to get back and realize you are locked out! But i get that thats something you cant change overnight.

the bed was super comfortable and the room was surprisingly big! Also they had little snacks in the room for me, a super nice touch. I was impressed by all the amenities in the room!

They charged more than what booking.com quoted and claimed banking charges for justification. The rooms were a little run down and not very clean. There are other better places around.
