Overall the rooms are good but they are in desperate need of good renovation. The hot tub and sauna are being renovated atm... .

Amazing location with amazing views, very nice main building, good breakfast and friendly staff. Room with a fireplace.

When we had breakfast, we ordered a Latte and no one told us that it is not included in the price of the breakfast. This was a bit frustrating especially that each cup cost $CAD 9.50!

The property is very quite and clean. Staff us friendly and very helpful.

Rooms were a bit old, balcony was very dirty.

Staff was young and incredibly friendly, trying to help whenever they can but never being overwhelming. Location is simply wonderful. The shuttle for the parking is very handy.

Property is OLD, worn down, and otherwise falling apart…literally. Rugs are stained, buildings could use a power wash, and the structures shake when anyone moves.

No parking on site for hotel guests. Only at overnight parking lot and then take free shuttle which is a bit of a hassle if you are carrying luggage. Small rooms was a bit of a challenge with a toddler travelling with us.

Excellent location by the lake, peaceful and quiet to explore when the day trippers are gone. The food is good at the Cafe and Lodge restaurant onsite.

Unfortunatly booking.com and the hotel did not communicate with each other and after much heated debate on check out, the property double charged my card. Which put a bit of a downer on what was otherwise an excellent experience. Never had this problem before, but i might book this place direct next time to save myself the hassel!

Oh wow! This place is something special. We had a lovely view of the lake from our balcony and the location was so peaceful and serene particularly in the evening. I dare say its as beautiful or more so than some of the more famous lakes but with far fewer tourists. We dinned in the restaurant and made use of the bar and firepit area (they sell smores if you want the real north american experience with a touch of glam!). A great spot for star gazing. We also swam in the lake in the evening, cold but a fantastic experience when you've got a log fire in the room to warm up! Concierege carparking also meant that the resort itself was car free which was lovely

I didn’t mind not having a tv in the room, but some Wi-Fi would have been nice. And when you say no outside food I thought there would be a bigger selection of choices given how much effort would be involved in going somewhere else to eat.

The view of the lake was amazing! The staff was fantastic and the room was clean. We were in the farthest cabin from the lodge and that really made it a quiet experience.

The room was outdated and didn’t have tv, wifi, radio, or air conditioning. The wood for the fireplace didn’t stay burning because the wood was not seasoned.

The view was incredible. We could see the lake from our balcony.

Lighting in rooms subpar, no TV but that did not matter, just be a was aware. Internet service only at lodge, just be aware of that too. No sandwiches 3 days in a row at snack bar located by bridge.

There were some guests who selfishly overtook the lounge in the morning (spread out working on three lounge areas). But that's not the hotel's fault. And the bathroom lighting is not conducive to the application of makeup!! The bus transfer to get to the hotel was a bit congested at check-in time but probably to be expected.

Emerald Lake is absolutely stunning so the hotel has a huge location advantage. The rooms are lovely - while the bathrooms are a wee bit small/dated, the bed was incredibly comfortable, open fire a real treat, balcony lovely. The restaurant/bar/lounge area is lovely and the grounds beautiful.

The lodge itself is a bit rundown- and is definitely understaffed - leaving the service somewhat lacking. Restaurant options are restricted- though the meals we had were very good.

The property is located in an awe inspiring location and the history of the area and lodge is fascinating. It’s a magical place!

The lakefront location and away from all the buzz. Great food and drinks at the lounge and cafe. It’s feel especially serene and peaceful in the early morning.

no kettel in the room, you have to ask front desk to get it.

It is just by the lake. You have wonderful view from the balcony of room. The dinner is good. There are several tracking trails there.

Room was a little tired looking. Some of them were being renovated.

Accomodation is in wooden lodges by the lake. Room had a fireplace in it and logs which we didn't use as weather was hot. Handy shuttle bus takes you from car park to welcoming hotel reception. Great position on Emerald lake, very scenic. You can hire canoes on the lake.

The take away hot chocolate at the cafe, far too watery!!

The location of Emerald Lake Lodge is stunning and the lodges fit into the surroundings perfectly. I had breakfast on both mornings and two evening meals, all were delicious. The staff were first class and attentive. My room was lovely, a comfortable bed with warm duvet. Great products in the bathroom, good quality towels and all the extra amenities. Shower was a good pressure with plenty of hot water. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay and would certainly recommend Emerald Lake Lodge.
