No breakfast. No coffee. No AC. All these things are expected, but we're not provided. He had tea. Most travellers want coffee. "Whirlpool tub" was unusable at first. Bad drain plug. (remove the screw from the bottom of the drain plug, and it functions. Shouldn't have to do that.)

The cottage was absolutely charming and peaceful with a nice view of the lake. Everything was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Jalal was also such a kind host! We only stayed there for one night, but we will definitely be back :)

The little wood cottage is amazingly charming and confortable with lake view. We stayed only one night but could’ve spent the week.

The most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in hands down. It was old, hard and squeaky and the old dark purple linens was like something I purged out of the back of my grandmothers linen closet. It was more akin to someone’s barely used guest bedroom in their basement as opposed to a plush fresh clean hotel bed. Strongly recommend investing in new mattress and linens.

Good place to stop for the night while doing Cabot trail.

Located along the Cabot Trail at a little lake. Perfect for a stop on the trail and/or ahead of leaving for the ferry to Newfoundland. Super comfy and cosy Inn. We had two lovely rooms for our family. Great talk with the innkeeper and good recommendations for dinner just 2 minutes away by car.

Problem with reservation and charge for non using room

We would like to have a better access to the lake, the grass was very long and we didn,t want to risk to catch ticks, the room was a little hot but Jalal give us an extra fan. The king bed was to soft and probably a little overdue but the double bed was perfect. Also the chalet can benefit a better arrangement of lights, it was a little dark. a lot of small black flies, the wifi was weak and the shower head was badly placed hitting the shower so you have to bathe too close to the glass

nice place, wood chalet, everithing on the premise to cook, even the bag and coffee, pot and pan dishes soap... 2 beds, balcony, nice bathroom, in the forest. Jalal was very nice and helpful.

Host was very welcoming and extremely helpful--made us feel very at home. Great piece of property--quiet, but close to all the area has to offer. Beds were very comfortable, rooms spacious. Loved having use of a kitchen. Highly recommend. Thank you, Jalal!

The actual room was nothing like it was advertised. There was a mouldy smell that gave me allergies. I did not stay both night due to this smell, was not refunded. Could not even get an answer.

The owner was extremely nice and helpful giving us suggestions on trails to take. A nice 12 km trail right at the back of the property. Loved the place and will definitely come back

My only regret is that I could only stay one night.

The whole property was wonderful. We could walk down to the lake in the evening and listen to nature. It was so peaceful. The house was comfortable and very well stocked with tea and other necessities. Jalal was an amazing host. He greeted us and showed us the place, then also gave us a map and recommendations of places to see on our short stay. We didn't have much time since we were heading home the next day, but we took his reccommendation to hike the Middle Head trail and see spectacular views of the ocean and coastline. He's a host that goes above and beyond.
