I was unable to book a third night🙂, as Lucy’s place is so popular. I had brought too much food for the tiny 3rd floor fridge, however, Lucy just put it in the large pre-Covid fridge on the 2nd floor so, no worries at all. Saw some vague reviews re the quality of location and, frankly, it is an older neighb’ that was built more for practicality than for anything else. Me, personally, I cared about a home that was safe, CLEAN, modernized, yes; friendly, preferably having parking, and one that truly enabled SLEEP. Thank you.

I AM A TOUGH JUDGE(!). (1.) It was so wonderful to find a place where the kindly caretaker-host actually understands the word CLEAN. No skimping! I was Really, really, REALLY pleased. (2.) DESIGN: Rooms placed at the back of the house, and Not above anyone else’s rooms(!). Hardwood floors. Quality bedding. The ceiling light fan was certainly helpful. It’s always good to have a small table/desk. Some ambiance. Spacious (2nd floor) eating area with Large fridge. (3.) Designated sleeping hours. (4.) The location was close to my reason for the trip. (5.) Free parking

Some one was in the parking spot in the driveway. But there is plenty of parking in the street so no big deal.

Nice clean, quiet and comfortable. Private bath. Easy check in and check out. I was sent to door codes a few hours before check in and had no problem entering.

Getting from Toronto to the suburbs almost guarantees being stuck in highway traffic jams. Kitchen could not be used due to covid, which is understandable but still a bummer.

Gas stations nearby, easy access to highway. Convenient checkin through keypads, parking right at the doorstep. Bathroom was great!

Bed was more firm than I am used to. Driveway is narrow for two mid sized vehicles.

Very basic but clean, quiet, modern and cheap. Very nice shower. I would definitely recommend.

A bit far from downtown and airport.

I would have liked to be able to open blinds vertically than horizontally so natural light could come in.

My room was big and clean. I had a large walk in closet with extra big pillows if I needed, hangers and a shelving unit which is really convenient plus two chairs in the closet perfect lighting. The double bed was firm and comfortable. Theres a desk and chair in the room which is helpful. The bathroom was the big seller. WOW! Modern everything. I especially liked the fold down wooden seat with the handy portable shower handle. Real nice touch. Water pressure was perfect.I love the double sink and toilet. The kitchenette below me had everything I needed I'd love to stay again.

Bed in our room was extremely squeaky/loud… every time one of us moved slightly it would creak loudly, so much so it actually kept me awake through the night. The room was a bit barebones - not required, but some additions to make it feel more warm/“homey” would have been nice.

Very clean and I liked the little kitchenette provided in the common area below the rooms. The self check-in and lockable doors were great as well.

Squeaky bed, either boiling or freezing water in shower, be ready to spent at least 5 minutes to find a sweet spot.

I'm not used to sleeping with bright city lights, so thicker curtains would have given me better sleep.

Bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and organized, coffee and tea available for the mornings, very secure doors, very quiet over the night, extra pillows in the closet that suited me, internet worked great.

Clean. Comfortable. Everything I needed was supplied. Location was perfect for my needs, even if it isn't technically in mid-town Toronto.

Initially, I was a bit hesitant about booking a room at the airbnb type of location through booking.com but, the location and room amenities were amazing for the price you pay, there were plenty of parking spaces outside, quite neighbourhood and there is a Tim Horton in a walking distance.

The water in the show can get extremely hot and doesn't adjust quick enough.

The walls are thin and there’s no tv.
