How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and plenty of space. Garage was great, hot tub was a bonus. Easy to get to the trails.

The shower in the master bath , as it was not a wall one, no pull out couch or extra sheets for the couch.
It was a great spot to ski in and out of. Having a bbq was fantastic to cook dinner on. The beds were very comfortable. Having access to the hot tub , shuttle and skating was also an added bonus

The bed is very uncomfortable. The mattress should be changed. The couches in the living room are old and the springs are gone.
Amazing view from the balcony. Good amount of space, clean. Well equipped kitchen. Soap, shampoo, detergent,paper towel provided

This is a minor point, but it’s an uphill like from the pedestrian village (steep uphill for short sections). Some renters might need to drive down to make use of the village.
Very nice and spacious. We’ll equipped kitchen and bbq.

Ski in/out location isn't the greatest and is a bit tricky to get out and back to. Not terrible if you're only going out once a day but annoying if you wanted to come back during the day like for lunch. Hot tub was only lukewarm. Cleaning fee was very high considering we were required to do a bulk of it including dishes and garbage. There was no dishwasher detergent or dishwashing soap provided. Only one small bottle of shampoo/conditioner/body wash was included in each bathroom and insufficient for large groups.
Staff at check in was friendly and helpful. No issues with key pick up. Parking at unit was convenient and right below the unit. Apartment was well kept, spacious, and easily accommodated our group. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking.

The elevator didn't work and no one advised us. My wife can't do stairs so this was a very difficult stay. And extremely disappointing. We stay here every year. Probably won't be back

TBH, the actual property was a little dated, realized nice but the property could definitely use some updated smart tvs, actually still has a tube tv, we as a family like to watch a movie or two and for us in English, if the had some smart tv everyone has their own Netflix or prime account. that is my only negative thing

Our unit has not been taken care of. While we were here the refrigerator stopped working and leaked water throughout the unit during the night. There were notes on the fridge suggesting this was a known problem and we found a review from 2020 saying the same, I cannot believe it hadn’t been replaced. additionally, the mattresses and pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable. We are truly not a group of complainers and typically enjoy every place we stay. This was clearly being invested in as minimally as possible. The unit had a musty smell to it, and we think it’s because the area rugs and other fabrics have likely never been cleaned. We cleaned what we could while we were here and opened some windows and the smell improved a bit, but it needs a lot of than we could offer in a weekend.
it would have had a nice view. unfortunately trees have grown up so you could not see the lake. However, it was peaceful sitting outside and it was very nice to be near a pool.

The beds not great, storm came and staff were nasty to us and said it was booked but the whole place had 5 cars in huge parking garage. The road on the mountain was steep not plowed and we had to drive down it with family of 8. The insisted we get there to return our keys at a place 10 minutes away in a blizzard, our car with four wheel drive got stuck with about 5 other cars. Nothing was plowed and they didn’t care. Staff there were very rude and inconsiderate. I would never stay there again, there are multiple other places to stay. Look elsewhere. Hot tub not even hot and said it closed at 10 but staff said we had to be out by 9:30. No sheets for bed, no extra pillows, no service if you need anything, they don’t care.

The elevator is always out of order. And I was charged 1500 dollars on my credit card after check out for so called “damages” without any notice.

TV listing would have been nice. Travelled with an elderly person (TV) and the big step over the threshold for the balcony was a concern, but was managed. The condo was having some maintenance and we were not informed. We returned to someone in our unit. They were polite but it made us feel unsafe, despite the gated entries
